I wonder how long it’ll take for the first hunts to take place…

Whoever thinks it better to hunt for food then eating delicous grass

Such an idea may arise in times of dire needs…

I didn’t bother switching cause fermentation stomach is a lock in mode cause fermenting meat not the best choice for something that just evolved to process grass and plants

I guess my species has 2 tracks now so it should be able to go around the “omnivores are inefficient because digestion stuff” setback.

Maybe but the problem is one head can’t eat downwards cause the other head is in the way so it can’t eat food on the ground just something standing up

If it evolves a neck for the upper head, it will be able to eat downwards.

Fair enough, though I find it odd massive creatures are barely the size of a small elephant when creatures have been bigger than that.

Well, the cost come from the energy expended because they are inefficient at hunting. However, you could get around the cost from vegetation in the future, after a few more mutations

I guess having even larger sizes could be problematic from the stat multiplier standpoint.

Yeah that’s basically why. Any size larger will be recategorized as massive.

You mean if I turn my species into an omnivore, right?

Alright, just checking cause I was stumped when seeing a small elephant was the limit otherwise lol.

I can take a guess that you’d need some adaptations to make our lizards sauropod-sized…

that’s what the airsac is for its one of the many adaptations needed.

I see. Also kind of funny that our critters aren’t even listed as having bones
