Thankfully the developers care a great deal about the game, so they’re getting Thrive the help it needs to regain its existential stability.
So from what I understand, 0.6.6 will be released once the game is as stable as before the conversion, right?
April 27, for now at least.
With a tentative release day set, it’s not going to be as polished as before, though I’m relatively sure all the big crashing bugs were fixed already.
I think that putting a date if it is not certain that they will be able to make things accessible is a mistake.
It just creates pressure and may lead to unexpected problems (in my opinion)
I’d rather you take your time to work on a version that you’re sure you’ll submit than it being rushed and with a few problems here and there.
Fully trying to fix things would mean that the release would be in June…
So 0.6.7 will have atleast a partial focus on fixing the remaining post-conversion issues?
Or there might be a patch release if a bunch of high priority issues pop up after the 0.6.6 release.
Well atleast this didn’t come with as many issues as a full engine change.
Finally, endosymbiosis coming to the game.
I’m curious about the preliminary work/the larger changes that the work is preparing for (endosymbiosis or the new agent system possibly?)
I am rather sure that those are going to be the most noticable features of this release cycle, which is getting focused on combat refubrishing.
