In case any new user or fan is browsing the updates, curious on why there isn’t much progress in the current week. Many potential new fans would probably immediately check the current or recent weeks to see if the game is being developed actively; a negative impression on progress which is inaccurate could deter those new users.

I see. Would we continue doing that if we got more paid developers?

I mean yes? when they take vacations the speed will go down and so we need to clarify things up

If these vacations were more spaced out and not clustered around the summer, would then things be different?

I wonder how different Thrive progress would be if the next full-time dev lives in the Southern Hemisphere?

Well then there would always be a full-time dev active at all times of the year ig.

Well quite obviously if there was another paid employee, we would try really hard to make sure that we aren’t both on vacation at the same time.

I assume this is no matter what kind of position (theorist, programmer, outreach, etc) they’d have in the team?

Seems to be the smallest PU in a good while…

Same here. I suppose there won’t be a PU next week? Or will it be similar in nature to this one?

There isn’t an official developer summer vacation, June just tends to be a bit less busy as people completely transition from a busy work schedule/schooling to summer. So there will be a PU next week.

Besides that, appreciate it!

As always. Though I wonder if in the future we’ll have more PUs with a concentration of new features mentioned or will things be more even out across the PUs…

Was it really necessary to include the grass bit? (Otherwise an OK PU)

I guess it was put to make things more interesting. Also, does anyone else want to see Thim use
“the man who yells at grass!” as a vanity name?
