I thought this was βfixedβ a couple releases ago when they buffed chloroplasts?
Oh well then this choloroplast discourse is still ongoing.

Maybe we should call it the Chloroplast Conundrum?
Or even more aptly, βChlorundrumβ?
Anytime Godot detects that something caused a script error (which should all be triggered from C# in our case). So yes it detects all errors, even unknown ones at the present time.
I canβt remember so someone would need to check the git history to see what the old value was.
That shouldnβt be the case as I donβt recall anyone nerfing that since my relative buff to it to make it a worthwhile upgrade.
Now that most organelles seem to have been polished to near perfection, is there anything more we could add to bioluminescent vacuole so that thereβs more of a reason to ever evolve it?
MMORPG player says: βThat just sounds like the normal balancing process?β
Are you sure that is currently the case? Itβs certainly not supposed to be.
Problem is that unlike on the macroscopic scale, thereβs very little clue in the literature of the real usefulness of bioluminescence in microbes. Seems like we just donβt know very well, or it is really quite limited to oxygen resistance and part of communication (and symbiosis with larger organisms in return for providing the light).
I am thinking of making it consume less ATP and increasing its oxygen resistance. This in combination with having the normal oxygen resistance slider have some ongoing cost.
Maybe at some point the communication part of it could be implemented in some way as well.
Are we sure having thermosynthesis producing glucose is accurate enough? Pretty sure in the original idea the organelles of this sort were supposed to just turn ADP back into ATP, so how does glucose tie into this mechanism?
I canβt wait to try these new features when 0.9.1.0 releases!
β¦Now that I look at it, itβs supposed to release in a week. We arenβt getting RCs/betas for it I guess.
I wrote details about this in the latest Patreon post, but in short: yes I did note down the Thrive Sin we are committing.
Perhaps this wouldnβt have been needed if the atp to glucose organelle got implemented but oh well itβs too late for it now.
Woaaaah, a significant development at the outreach? I wish i could help but the only thing i have that would be remotely useful is video editing
I feel like there might be a couple people around here fit for the outreach role but they just underestimate themselves or somethingβ¦
Thrive progress update: with release 9.1!
Isnβt it supposed to be 0.9.1?
Whoops! Good catch. Updated it, which should update on the website soon.
So I suppose the big 50th devblog is reserved for the grand 1.0.0
Itβs not reserved, itβs just that nobody wanted to commit to writing like 3 full devblogs in the timespan of a month.
