1.0.1 still lies without a release date (on the milestones page atleast) nearly a month and a half since the grand 1.0.0

Also, will the change to Godot 4.6 change all the worlds generated by world seeds again?

You mean as in it would reset the seeds and make each generate a world different from the ones in the 4.5-based versions?

  • Made sure AI cells cannot look for mucilage thinking it is useful

Perhaps this will be eventually revisited when mucilage becomes a potential food source.

I wonder if initial cell clump in Multicellular now being size of three means the number of cells to form a colony in Microbe may be reduced, or if the number of starting cells for Multicellular will be increased further…

I think this is supposed to be a compromise between the og 1 starting cell vs the 5 cells of the multicell requirement.

I think it would make sense to also be 5, but I believe Hhyyrylainen chose 3 because it means you can’t reach our current β€œwin goal” within a single editor session. (As that would overlap messages)

IIRC it’s just a little triangle of cells all facing forwards.
