More evolution, more realism. At what point would it just become an⦠universe simulator?
Nope, just a case of it starting counting from 1 instead of 0.
I find it kind of surprising any player wouldβve noticed that, did a dev find this?
Basically, CheviLevi is using AI to scan through parts of the code and find problems.
I suppose that is a benefit of having that thing on the development side of thingsβ¦
Sad to see non-cellular parts will not worked on at. Was hoping that the Nematocyst would make into Multicellular.
We canβt have everything when the projectβs budget is on the line yknow
While the nematocyst is not on the roadmap, it is also not an example of a non-cellular part.
It does come somewhat close though, being in the territory of axon and actomyosin, that being organelles that pretty much go to more or less completely define a cell
Itβs not really close to using any of the non-cellular mechanics though. The same goes for the axon and actomyosin, they have nothing to do with non-cellular parts at all.
β¦Of which Iβm pretty sure we donβt have and likely wonβt have any thereof. Unless someone undertakes the sisyphean task of unspaghettifying the microbe stagesβ code for such a possibility to open in post-multicellular development
What in the world does βSeaechingβ mean?
or βnow spans a mate even if it should be blocked by there being too much terrain.β
span has no business being there
I am starting to feel like this next release might actually not jump over to 1.8β¦
Added HUD notices for when a mate is spawned by the Signalling Agent ability (if enabled in Difficulty settings) or if itβs not because itβs still on cooldown.
This should be a very helpful setting for gamete reproduction.
Added gamete type information to the mouse hover panel.
I presume Players will also be able to use this to identify gametes of other species?
You already can. All was added this week was the gamete type into the display, it already showed you which species a gamete was from.
I presume hybridizing will only be a thing in macro+?
Clade diagrams will become even more crazy with hybridization.
They could also require new programming for that which probably is easier said than done
