Action: Try to process the silk so that it is no longer sticky, and possibly use it to make clothes for diplomats (so that they don’t go around naked).

Also, will diplomats naturally try to interact with visitors in order to gain experience or do we have to use an action for that?

They will passively interact with people but they need orders to do more advanced stuff.

I guess it’ll increase your political power when it reaches certain milestones. Upgrading intelligence also increases your energy capacity.

I would say that higher intelligence allows TO to do tasks which weren’t available for TO before.

We are also covertly going to make advanced technology and weapons which we will supply to our thrall nations so that they can pressure other countries into joining alliances, commercial pacts and other things that will make it easier for us to make more thrall nations; it will also be usefull in case our thrall nations enter a war (or if we are forced to directly partake in a conflict).

I would say they currently are around 10 times smaller than regular ant neurons in volume.

Send diplomats, then do information gathering on politicians in order to find corruptible ones and buy their loyalty so that we have an initial foothold in their government, then create infiltrators and make them pursue political careers in the target government with the aid of the corrupt politocians, do so until all or the majority of their politicians are in some way affiliated with us (or at least until there is an entire political party that is under our control). All of this will be done anonymously on our part, the corrupt politicians won’t know who is actually financing them and won’t know that the politicians they are aiding are infiltrators either (it would be favorable if no human knew of the existence of infiltrators).

During all of this we will push for policies that favor our goals:

Decreased freedom of press, the more we can control the information that reaches the public the better it is; pairing this with misinformation campaigns will provide maximum results.

Decreased transparency of the state, especially regarding the use of national resources, failing this we should work to create fake governmental budget reports in order to not arise suspicion.

Regarding the national budget, we should especially decrease spending on education, as an educated population is more difficult to control than a non educated one; we should also increase the spending on the military: it must always be armed and ready to supress any protest that may arise. Finally, we will use a portion of the budget in order to finance our plans and research.

I just searched how the democratic situation is Nicaragua, and I found this:

In 2018, state forces, with the aid of informally allied armed groups, responded to a mass antigovernment movement with violence and repression. Since then, Ortega’s regime has consolidated its power by engaging in surveillance, curtailing press freedoms, arresting political opponents, and sending opposing voices into exile.

While this still didn’t happen as we are still in the year 2000, it means that the country is probably susceptible to our tactics, which will make it easy for us to take control of it.

Round Prologue

TO and their nest will have to get used to constant interfearance by humans…

The Organism

TO developed a new kind of web which is extremely corrosive to mammals, birds and reptiles (+50 S).

TO’s brain has been improved, now being far better at designing good buildings (+100 ME, @Evolution4Weak please submit a minor mutation related to the brain). The neurons of the brain themselves are now smaller, making the processing speed faster (+50 ME). The healer caste has been improved, but not by much (Passive Healing is now ((3/2 Size Multiplier)H/R)). Some tumours appeared and were removed (-50 H). TO’s intellect has seen large increase, now being around 280 IQ (+200 ME).

TO tried mining down but it only hurt itself (-50 H). TO then tried to produce the specialized stomach caste, but again it produced members of other castes instead (+25 MH, +25 S). TO then ordered some of it’s scouts to go to Matiguas. The said ants would return after a few hours with information about the people of that town, aswell as bringing back some food they managed to find (+125 R, +1 HK). TO then made clothes out of the silk, enough to cover every diplomat it made aswell as itself (+200 Armour). TO then dug down again, this time with a more solid plan: In the chamber it dug down, the ant started to experiment with weapons, constructing first bows for the ant tribe (+200 S)! TO then converted some of it’s resources into health (100 R → 250 H).

HUMAN INTERACTION

24 people have entered the nest. Some of them gave TO food (+125 R), and others tried to talk to it. They said that the government will most likely close this area from the public soon so that the researchers can have the ant tribe only available to them. They also talked to the diplomats, improving their skills. However, with this many people came danger that some of them could fall into the traps…

Two people slid down into a trap, being injured by the sharp sticks at the bottom of it. The news of the traps spread quickly amongst the group, and with the injured pair the whole gathering would quickly leave the nest…

I’ll remind you that there exists a system that allows you to make a vote against a player whose Mutation/Actions goes against your own Mutation/Action.

Some additional rules and stuff:
-If size of the organism increases, so will the organism statistics, aswell as their effects (so if you double your size, the organism has double in height statistics, and it consumes double energy/round passively).
-Actions such as converting resources into energy, or turning resources into health, don’t cost energy. However, if you don’t have resources nor energy, you can draw your health bar (meaning that it’ll have a lower cap) in order to regenerate energy just like resources.
