i think not. its behaviour is so complex, it can completely crash your pc, potentially corrupting your files. this is rare, but is a risk i cant take on a public game.

I’ve noticed there seems to only be 1 species in this game, how will the flora be handled?

im thinking introducing 3 new species in the macro stages: plankton, grass (with bushes) and a giant animal (that will be hunted to extinction in the sentient stage )

also bad news, it looks like i cant carry the color from the cells into the macro-organism, so the organism will start with a grey color, and then randomly evolve a new one.

this only happened now since the micro and macro environments are 2 different scenes, and when you exit the micro scene, only then the macro scene loads and the micro scene gets deleted for the current playtrougth, so you cant really transmit information then

Will macro stage also be a top down thing or will they start to actually move in 3 axes?

yes, they will move on all 3 axes, and you will control the camera (rmb to rotate, wasd to move)

Will you also be able to use the c button to disengage the mouse?

your mouse is already free, you only rotate when holding rmb
