Gamewise? Besides Hytale, Vintage Story has been going on with updates for a nearly a decade. Hopefully, VS will pick up more in popularity.

Ark seems to be fading out, but Terraria, Rust, and Don’t Starve are there as a minor threat.

I kind of feel like if mc doesn’t change it’s course it will be slowly picked apart by it’s more capable competitors till it has resources to sustain itself no more in a couple decades.
