Iโm perfectly alright with high populations if weโre doing space colonization, but I really donโt think anything preemptive on that front will lead to anything but the growth of manifest-destiny style atrocious philosophies. Though uh, number one policy: unless itโs causing a serious problem, let people reproduce however much they want. Since well educated and payed societies tend to have lower birth rates, I suppose I prefer low birth rates, but what I really prefer is freedom and people having good lives. More minds solving problems is less relevant when more lives rhetorically equals lower standards of living, remember Einstein wrote his theories because he had free time as a patent clerk, if he had a high stress job and worked 12 hours a day heโd never publish a single thing. Giving people free time and self determination leads to more thought-hours going towards progress.

That reminds of a famous Bengali poet, whose name escapes me at the moment, that wrote a lot of his most famous works during his free time while working at a bakery when he was young.

Btw, I donโt think it was confirmed officially yet that the update is 1.21.5 and not 1.22 for example.

True. But from previous releases, the full next 1.XX updates normally release in the Summer. Who knows? Maybe Mojang will switch it up this time.
