I deleted a video I did not have time to fully watch, but which basically invited discussion on the politics of religion. (I didn’t watch so much of the video that I would actually know why it invited such discussions)

The railroad sign wasn’t the Shepherd after all. Maybe the Laffun head was? Also, the sound in the sewers sounded like the music heard in the first video.

I wish I could play this game, but instead of the Shepherd coming, it’d be the Deckard coming. That way, I would purposefully get caught so I can finally play with the Deckard.

No, not forever. A better headset with BCI will emerge in the future, allowing for more controls in-game. And then, years later, it will be a brain headset without display that emerges the player in a dream-like state where the game is inside their mind while connected to their PC. I’ll play with those when they come out.

These ideas strangely remind me of the visions for “the metaverse” back when it was still somewhat scifi territory…

The latter idea I proposed was something I imagined as a child without reading any sci-fi stuff. I legitimately believed this was the future. Unfortunately, if I get my DBS treatment, I might not wear a BCI headset since the DBS device would interfere with it.

I guess I could get my DBS device removed when I deem that it is no longer necessary (when I’m fully recovered).

Not necessarily. I believe that it’s just my brain that has rewired my reward circuit elsewhere and needs rewire it back to its original place. Once that is done, I might not need the treatment anymore. Just like I don’t need methylphenidate for ADHD anymore.
