Mutation uno: Biparental care
Mutation dos: Photoreceptors? (lensed eyes if alraedy present)
Mutation uno: Biparental care
Mutation dos: Photoreceptors? (lensed eyes if alraedy present)
base organism has basic sensory cells so you probably already have photoreceptors
Does the streamlined body of Cat-Bestiae Tigris also increase itâs flying speed?
It already added speed to land speed, so youâll have 1 flying speed next round.
Edit: Bontopia13 and ThatGuyJim, where are your mutations?
Edit2: @Bontopia13 and @ThatGuyJim I request you both to submit mutations. If not done, Iâll consider making another species fate vote.
Sorry, my power went out, and so I could not use my laptop. Anyway.
M1: A larger abdomen.
M2: 2 More legs.
Iâve decided to wait for ThatGuyJim until November the 14th, if they donât respond by then, I will see them as no longer active on the forum and do a species fate vote.
Iâve made a new Forum Game in the meantime, so that people will have more time to post votes on the individual FGs.
sorry, ive been away for ages and couldnt access the forum can i still do my two mutations or have i missed my chance?
You can still submit your 2 mutations.
if i am still in, here are my new mutations
M1: add rear spikes as a defense
M2: flagella
Do you mean hair? You control a creature species, not a cell one, and the environment is land and not water.
oh wait, i ment the weird tenticles used to make cells move, i think i got mixed up
Pseudopods (the thing you most likely meant) are already a part of your creature in form of muscle cells, which function in very simmilar way.
I will change it to faster limb movement
Round 14 - Year 1, Month 2
SUB-EVENT
Prosper Forum has downloaded a large update recenently. While at the first sight not affecting the creatures, it turned out that composition of the atmosphere has changed, being better for the organisms. Their circulatory systems now strenghten them, respiratory systems allows for faster movement, and more oxygenated than ever brains allow for more stealth.
In the meantime, Creature Containment Plan, now known as Creature Park Organization (CPO), with many members of former BCA joining in, made an agreement with FPG and the forumâs moderators, allowing for creation of areas where the forumâs species will be safe to live in. However, a splinter group of FPG radicals, known as Eradication Agreement (EA), stated that it will continue to raid those âForum Parksâ (FPs). CPOâs plan is to create multiple Forum Parks with unique conditions, which will influence evolution of organisms living inside of them. First of those areas, α-FP, has conditions that immitate the ones of earthly deserts, with large spaces between few letters.
CPO also is the first group in the forum to develop a timeline of creaturesâ evolution, with MAL (Months After Limagriseus) being the primary time unit. Period of time 1 to 3 MAL is known as the Early Era, the period of time from 4 to 9 MAL is known as the Intermediate Era, and the time period from 10 MAL on, including the present day, is known as Pax Multipoda
How will the species adapt to all this stuff?
Species
@Teaking - Multipoda TeaKinges, âThe Crawlerâ - HO
Mutations: Improved Respiratory System (+1 Both Speed), Gliding limbs (+1 Flying Speed)
M. TeaKinges evolved pair of gliding limbs, allowing for basic flight. In order to suplement flight muscles with enought oxygen, it also improved itâs respiratory system greatly, making it even faster. Itâs flight became even better thanks to forumâs new atmosphere.

@Cha - Multipoda Yuyimus, âCentipedeâ - OP
Mutations: Biparental Care, Pinhole Eyes (+1 Stealth)
M. Yuyimus now cares for itâs youth after it hatches. Two parents will care for clutch of eggs and the juviniles born out of them. To see itâs environment easier, this species has also developed pinhole eyes, being able to sense direction of light.
M. Narrenists has an edge over this species in stealth, and begins to eliminate it from the forumâŠ

Predated By: Multipoda TeaKinges, Multipoda Cat-Bestiae, Multipoda Narrenists, M. Mutator
@CatSquared - Multipoda Cat-Bestiae, âCat Beastsâ - HO
Mutations: Swarm Behaviour (+0.5 to Strenght Multiplier), Gliding Wings (+1 Flying Speed), Toxicity (+1 Strenght)
M. Cat-Bestiae, like D. Bontopius, now operates in a swarms, hunting together and protecting each other. It also has developed basic gliding wings, allowing it to glide from letter to letter. It also developed a toxin, making it inedible to all predators⊠for now.

Distribution: Wilderness
Preys On: Vegetation, Multipoda Yuyimus, Multipoda TeaKinges, Multipoda Narrenists, M. Mutator
Predated By: N/A
@ThatGuyJim - Multipoda Narrenists, âDarrenâ - HO
Mutations: Rear Spikes (+1 Strenght), Faster Movement (+1 Speed)
M. Narrenists evolved spikes on itâs rear side, making attacks on it from behind highly dangerous. It has also developed to move faster, with changes to itâs walking pattern.
Statistics:
Distribution: Wilderness
Preys On: Vegetation, Multipoda Yuyimus, Multipoda Cat-Bestiae, M. Mutator, M. TeaKinges
Predated By: Multipoda Cat-Bestiae, Multipoda TeaKinges, M. Mutator
@Bontopia13 - Dichorisare Bontopius, âThe Swarmâ - HO
Mutations: Larger Abdomen (+1 Strenght), 2 More Legs (+1 Speed)
D. Bontopiusâs abdomen segment is now larger, allowing the creature to tank more damage from predators. It also has develop 2 more legs, increasing itâs movement speed.

@fralegend015 - Fabuloid Pseudo, âHothebelifabustilalâ - HO
Mutations: Better Respiratory System (+1 Speed), Limbs Location Change (+1 Speed), Intermediate Brain (+1 Stealth)
F. Hothebelifabustilal is the descendant of M. Mutator. It has developed more complex brain, helping it survive in the forumâs environment, aswell as the necesarry respiratory system to supply it with oxygen equivalent. Itâs limbs now rest on the side of itâs body and have more muscles attatched to it, giving the organism more speed. The creature looks a lot like a creature from the Extinct Fabula genus, and so it has been renamed to such name.

Predated By: Multipoda Cat-Bestiae, M. Narrenists, M. Yuyimus, M. TeaKinges
@willow - Dichorisare Amplicoma, âWall Slugâ - HO
Mutations: Higher Muscle Heat (+1 Strenght), Acid Gland + Mazes (+1 Stealth)
D. Amplicoma generates more heat when itâs muscles are moving, allowing it to go further down posts without freezing to death. It also produces acid, which is able to melt soil in lower levels of a post, allowing for the creation of mazes in which those creatures hide. However they still need to go to the surface in order to eat, meaning that they are at risk of predation from both other creatures and usersâŠ

BIOMES:
Wilderness - All Species
α-FP - No Species
ORGANIZATIONS & GROUPS (from most friendly to most hostile):
-CPO (Creature Park Organization)
-FPG (Forum Protection Group)
-EA (Eradication Agreement)
A lot of changes this round!
Circulatory System and itâs upgrades give +1 Strenght, Respiratory System and itâs upgrades give +1 Speed to walking speed and flying speed, if a creature can fly. Brains or other neural structures and their upgrades give +1 to Stealth.
Habitats are now present, and their amount will expand, atleast as long as a creature doesnât develop concerning features. They are empty of creature for now, but perhaps soon someone will migrate to the first new biome?
FPs (Forum Parks) donât allow species to evolve at faster rate (meaning that all species will evolve in them at rate of 2 M/R, unless they exist both in the Wilderness and a FP), while the Wilderness allows species to evolve at faster rate due to pressure from users.
FPs donât have User Hunting Pressure, but they do still suffer from event penealties.
Expect the first general cladogram to appear soon, along with the symbols of various organizations.
How much is going to be the next hunting pressure?
It will be 9, 2 higher than the previous one (it has UHP of 7)
Mutation 1: Cybercognition, utilizes the cyberspace for sensing the position of anything that is around a certain radius from the speciesâ individuals utilizing it, this bypasses obstacles like the soil or letters.
Mutation 2: Autokinesis, the speciesâ individuals utilize the cyberspace to apply a vectorial force upon themselves, allowing them to go faster.
M1: acid resistant egg cells that are large enough that itâs a disadvantage to carry them so theyâre just dropped off in a pool of acid(also external fertilization because theyâre dropped off as soon as they are able to be fertilized and removes need to protect eggs on the surface)
M2: 12 legs that can be used for speed on ground but not hard walls(not enough surface area for the setae to work right) or to dig up and carry letters to the nests and partially bury them in the walls
Mutations:
A projectile, derived from the toxin, to attack enemies from afar or from the air.
A hydrogen bladder, to allow long periods of flight.
M1: jagged claws on its feet to help it cross rough terrain
M2: gliding wings
