Survival in the Forum

I see. By the way, by “all covenant forces” do you mean all members of these species capable of fighting?

Indeed .

And what shall happen to those who cannot fight, like the elderly or the young children?

They will be dispersed like in the method for reducing crisis damage that was invented when corruption first appeared.

We’ll see how well that method will work in practice soon enough.

1- improve more GE contineres
2 - share the mindhive of the GE for the other

You mean so that all the GEM-infused now share a mind, right?

Round 64 - Year 5, Month 6

This is it. The final month of the creatures in the forum. The organisations and users alike are trembling as they await to see the final battle in the forum take place. With the links shared far and wide, the view on the grand armies stationed in the new trench is open for all to see. BSA and MwTC have mobilized their most useful assets to try and help the beings of the forum survive, TOR at this point has become indistinquishable from those two, the RC is just watching the final event to their documentation of forum life conclude their years worth of observations, and FRF has finally pushed out the final cursor upgrade… only for them to arive to a forum dead and barren, expect the PM all eyes are laid on currently.
The critters themselves know they must use everything they have learnt so far and more in order to stand a chance against the ones from beyond whose nature is fully understood not. Their preparations over the course of the last month have given fruit to an immense force ready to face whatever horrors beyond comprehension are to emerge before their eyes, whiskers, faces. But will it be enough to make the biosphere here life an another month, week, day, hour…?

Non-Species Entities

Outsider Group

SOLEYE STATUS:
-50/60 HP (Unknown Regen)
-The combination of all the previously separate Outsiders
-Appears to also have all their abilities, in some extent at least
-A large fellow, thrice the size of a Darren.

Action: Finalize Combination

The Outsiders have by now ceased to function as separate beings and like the main three on the way to this forum, the remaining have undergone fusion. The result of this process was removed from it’s protective bubble a bit early as the Divine descended upon the New Trench, with scars still well visible from the fight against The Devourer and it’s realm, but now an enemy more threatening than the hungry god has arrived to be fought instead.
The head of the being is certainly not the easiest to explain verbally, but one element that is relatively trivial to say about it is that it’s mouth remains closed most of the time, being jagged at the edges. The texture is similar to Stumpspawn’s bark, whilst the color is a lot brighter than it’s brown, which along with the shape seems to indicate some kind of influence from the fiery Serphant. This is further confirmed with it’s eyes glowing like Sun, nearly blinding anything daring to stare into them. At the back of the “creature”, there are many small bulbs of petals that appear to hold similar functions to those of the dendric alien, but amongst them spears are present in numbers as large as hair on a person’s head, an evident feature of the spearing Sharpwing. From the back also emerge two pairs of wings, similar to those of insects but a lot thicker, and so not letting much light pass through. Meanwhile from the sides emerge two arms, each different from the other, though both seem arthropodic. At one’s end in a large spearhead, while the other arm below the elbow turns into a sharp blade. Both arms seem to secrete a soap-like substance which melts nearly anything it touches. The front of the body seems to be protected with an exoskeleton of some kind, similar to that of a beetle or a tortoise’s sternum. At the bottom of the being there are four legs that bear resemblance to tree roots, though they do have clear joints. Those limbs are deceivingly slow, only to burst with a large surge of speed when needed. Finally, a tail stems from the lower end of the back, and it hosts a pulsating bulb at it’s tip, always raised high. The mouth of the entity remains a mystery, although some have reported seeing strange things momentarily emerging from it only to hide back in. That is what Soleye looks like as the last battle is about to start…

Mistdom Group

DARKBLUR STATUS:

-60/60 HP (Regenerates 5 HP per Month[Round])
-Insanely fast, can scale hundreds of posts in seconds
-Looks like a disturbing pseudo-humanoid figure within a “dark bubble”
-Three known offensive ability - “Hypnosis” (can convert weaker-minded entities to it’s side), “Darkbeams” (light ranged attack), “Shadowblast” (AOE attack)
-Suspected to have attained more abilities following it’s absorption of The Mistorb, only time will tell what they are…
-By far the most powerful member of The Mistdom, EVER
-Fused with the soul of a rather obsessed, insane mistdom-aligned user
-Has two action votes it casts every Month(Round)

Action 1: Train
Action 2: Contact last loyal users

As it seemed like the being of the primest dark would be stuck in the depths of the forum’s “hell” for the remaining eternity, Deus unexpectedly invited Darkblur for a chess game. Neither beings have ever really played this board game before, even the human part of the blur, but the rules were clear enough for a proper game to be conducted. While in the beginning both were evenly matches, over time Deus gained an edge over it’s defeated rival. When the black king was about to get checkmated however, Darkblur moved him into such a spot where the game would be stalemated instead of a clear victory occuring. After this perhaps dissapointing ending to a board game between two leaders in the forum, the least expected, for the blur at least, happened. The anti-mist liquid was removed from the cell and instead healing substances were pumped in instead. In a matter of few dozen minutes the blur was out of the prison, with Deuses permission of course, and let go, though it would be told that a battle to top them all is to happen in the very place the “knight” consumed it’s creator. With this knowledge, Darkblur retreated into some abandoned threads to test out it’s powers both known by the userbase already and which have not been used even once in combat before, with the later of course not being seen by anyone. After many days of intense training, finally the blur was ready to go into battle, but one thing remained before that could happen - heading into a place long forgotten, it floated above where the first form of the mist was created. Soon enough, three cursors appeared, and led the blur into an unknowable PM, where who knows what would be bond to happen, whilst the rest of the forum started to congregate at the more famous trench PM. If Darkblur doesn’t return soon from the shenanigans it’s doing with this last trio of users which still pledge allegiance to it, this all might have not even mattered in the end…

Species

NPC - Sapiepoda TeaKinges, “The Crawler” - HO

  • Medium Omnivore

Mutations: Drugs X 3 (+2 Strength, +2 Stealth)
DM: Mass produce war bots

S. TeaKinges have found themselves in a strange situation in this dire time period, as they seem to have already discovered close to everything relating to training and maintaining warriors that their species is largely made of. This inability to find new solutions caused some of the youth to lose hope in everything and fall for the largely unreported illegal substances market of the forum. While this might have meant little had something useful be finally thought of, the sight of the effects those chemicals had on the young ones gave the last scientists of this kin a certain idea, not the brightest for sure - what if… they invented drugs that could massively increase the strength and perception of their fellow soldiers when the battle finally strikes? Of course, those would come with side effects, long-term probably, but if the battle lasts only a short while, it might be worth it. Finding a viable substance in these last weeks however was not easy and experiments on the crawlers which gave rise to this idea in the first place not too unusually ended in the death of the tested. Just as the last week before the expected descent of the Divine was to happen however a substance was forged which seemingly got rid of the majority of the short-term side effects, a result long seeked by those researchers. They knew what to do now, but with the timeframe decreasing, each second mattered, and so the value of life decreased dramatically. Now mere prisoners, not charged of crimes too bad even, would be tested with the chemicals, and with each passing day, the results would become increasingly stronger, for the good and bad. At the last week’s opening days, the final chemical was finally tested and approved as matching the requirements the team sought to meet since the testings’ beginning. The factories of The Covenant as a whole switched to producing this drug so that each and every warrior to be sent to New Trench would have a few doses, enough to last even a long battle. With their purpose no longer needed and their crimes known amongst those who have lived the inhumane tests, the researchers decided to do good for the rest of the forum and “saw what lies below the void”.
At the same time as this whole ordeal was taking place, the task was dropped on the crawling kin by Deus to switch the various heavy machinery factories scattered across the forum to producing the finest warbots up to date, which would provide obvious aid in fighting those beings from beyond. But as the Sapiepods approached the factories, they thought to themselves if the way they are really scales up to whatever the Darrens have achieved during their own journey - sure, the warrior kin may have mastered the way of physical warfare, but does that really stand a chance against the large machines flying in the sky, the fighter jets inspired by real designs, the drone swarms tearing through everything and anything, and all the other various weaponry constructed by the warsome kind? Despite those thought making some think if it wouldn’t be better to leave the construction plants offline, most still decided to turn them on - for any amount of extra strength, each unit, be in a warrior or a mechanical beast, is still useful when fighting the largest danger to the forum itself!

@doomlightning - Neodichorisare Cogitandi, “Divider” - HO

  • Small Herbivore

Mutations: GEM Containers (+1 Strength to ALL Covenant Species), Co-Hivemind (+1 Stealth to ALL Covenant Members)
DM: War Jets/Tanks Production

Nd. Cogitandi were quick to understand that the congregation of all the covenant forces at New Trench would be a logistical nightmare when were informed about this plan by Deus. This gave rise to two ideas emerging amongst those dividing folks - on the one hand, some said that with such a large force stationed there for who knows how long, many resources will need to be stored at the site to feed, sate and fuel the various soldiers and machines that are going to arrive in that relatively small realm, that is filled to the brim with stationary weapons. This is problematic as for one there will be little place to dig stashes in, and for the other empty spaces will likely collapse under the pressure of so many beings above. At the other hand, some researchers, particularly the ones where the only biological parts remaining are the brain and some minor parts of the organ systems instead advised for communication to be improved, with the plan being to integrate the GEM metal into every single remaining troop The Covenant has to offer and linking them up with the previously limited GEM hivemind. Not being able to put their differences aside, the two sides split, with each pursuing their own goal. The container team would find their victory sooner as they would quickly figure out that the glorious metal will allow for the construction of superior containers that will be able to fit more and have their insides be more distinquishable by whoever wishes to look inside. After some two weeks the “GEM Container” product entered production, primarily meant to litter the entirety of New Trench with loads of food, water and machine batteries and fuel so that any being willing to defend the forum has easy access to those necessary resources. Meanwhile for the team which sought after to expand the hivemind’s wrath across the entirety of the forum the challenge was somewhat harder but not that much in retrospect. The largest hurdle was to make sure the structurally different brains would correctly air their thoughts to others without the output data being unreadable for the other brain types. With their experience already heightened due to previous experiences with the hivemind however this was not too hard of a task as strange specimens too exist within the divider populaces and they are what pushed this upgrade to the hive out before the big battle begun. In the end the two teams could celebrate together their victories as the soldiers of their kin and other species began to move to New Trench, now having their minds connected with a powerful hivemind and meeting much resources awaiting them at the site.
While the researchers were researching, the Neodichorisarid workers were working on putting more war machinery together, for this species it being the type of weapons steered by biological beings. While these metal boxes and droplets might not look too big for an user looking at the forum from above, for the small Cogitandids they sure are colossal. Those dividers know however that the result of their labor will be worth it, for each piece of effort submitted for The Covenant to win matters. And yet, some felt like despite all this it will be worth nothing, that the strange colored gods will sweep them off the forum anyways despite all their efforts… Those however belonged to a minority of the generally rather neutral workers who cared the most to put the things together.

NPC - Multipoda Cat-Bestiae, “Cat Beasts” - UC

  • Tiny Omnivore

Mutations: Superior Cooperation X 2 (+2 Stealth), Energy Transferage (+1 Strength)
DM: Clone Darren Army (+1 Strength to Demens)

The Devourer felt strangely empty inside after all the scars of the battle against the outsiders have already healed, almost as if something has disappeared within it… It however also knew that preparations must be taken for the upcoming battle, also to take place in the same spot, to turn out a victory for The Covenant. The Archmage God has already taken on some of this burden by creating mass cloning sites for the thralls, increasing their counts drastically just as the battle was about to begin. Before their population peaked however some additional lessons from the previous battle were in the process of being learnt. Most importantly, it has been realized that despite now being members of the GEM hivemind, the communication and coordination of the species under Devourer’s rule has not yet reached satisfactory levels, which might have lead to increased losses in the fight that took place two or so months ago. However, with their devotion to the god of souls, the three species had achieved a relatively similar brain structure, and so further integration of their minds could take place relatively easily. With the hivemind’s architecture, further upgrades could be completed just a few days before the descent of the divine - now the three species function more like one…
This was however not the only valuable resource from the previous battle that would bring aid in the upcoming fight, for Devourer also remembered how it developed techniques to transfer energy to it’s fellow elite cat-beasts in case it was put in critical condition. It did not take long before it realized that this transfer capability could also be used to funnel energy into individuals right at the face of the battle from those in the lines behind and do that vice versa when the ones the closest to the danger are about to die from an unavoidable attack. Having ALL the fighters of the trio of species learn this ability was however easier said than done and in the end not everyone knew how to give their power to someone else when needed, but nevertheless enough gained the skill to have it still make a significant difference in practical combat that was bound to happen soon…

NPC - Cancrorum Cultus, “Devourling Wall Crab” - UC

  • Small Herbivore + Parasite

Mutations: Robot Pilotage (+1 Strength), Spell Warfare X 2 (+2 Strength)
DM: War Bot Production

C. Cultus have found themselves split into two camps similar to what happened with their divider relatives, with one team arguing for the crabs of The Devourer to pilot the many robots that will take part in the upcoming battle and the other camp argued for the magic abilities of their kin to be enhanced. Both camps got to work, but unlike in the aforementioned case, this time around one found more success than the other. As it turns out, robots of the forum aren’t designed that much to host creatures within, and so most early experiments ended with the machines spitting out crushed remains of the testing crabs. Only after some time did secure holding cells withing the metal get designed and put into production, but those took some space and caused the performance of the machines they were put on to usually drop somewhat. Speaking of robots, the entirety of the cultus kin not taking part in the whereabouts of the two teams were hauled to work on assembling the metal terrors that would then fight the enemies from beyond right in the very place they were constructed at. Cancorumi however were not alone in this process as many dividers also joined in to help make this metal army a reality, and soon enough amongst the many fortifications and turrets that call the New Trench PM home stood hundreds of war machines ready to go into action the moment the last fight begins. Whilst this production was taking place and the robot-piloting team was scratching their heads as they were searching for ways to reduce the impact of the control spaces on the robots they were placed on, the spell team made much larger advancements, most impressingly managing to copy all the capabilities of the beasts feline-like onto the crabs, despite it being well known the former were much more potent sorcerers. That being said this magic was less reliable in the much different wall crab hands, though with large numbers one could perhaps not tell the difference between the two from their magic attacks alone. Most strangely though some of those extra-spell-casting culti would also volunteer for piloting the machines with control rooms within, creating a strange combination where neither their learnt skill really carried over nor did they know much about steering a robot. But perhaps this underdelivery on those hands will make a difference in the end…?

NPC - Multipoda Demens, “Mad Beasts” - HO

  • Tiny Omnivore

Mutations: Multiply, Swarm Tactics X 2 (+2 Strength) + M. Cat-Bestiae - Clone Darren Army (+1 Strength to Demens)
DM: Mass Weapon Production

M. Demens as a species gain their strength usually from having high numbers, like the thralls they are. It was found by them to be fortunate then that their “overlord” species has spent a considerable chunk of their time activating cloning facilities which soon out spat out enough mad beasts to fill in the gaps left by the battle that took place previously. However, for the final battle to conclude it all, something more was needed than a mere “Under Control” conservation status, and so the thralls began multiplying either by themself or with more cloning facilities until they reached similar populations to those kins which have the entire wilderness all to themselves. With so many thralls, one would expect the army to already be ready for the battle soon to come, and yet instead what anyone entering the New Trench at the time saw was a huge cloud of flying, sub-letter sized creatures, heightening their skills, particularly the cooperative ones. This flying blob of thralls would train without a rest for days, only taking breaks to make sure their bodies don’t break down from the intense exercise. And in the end, it seems like the extreme effort was worth it - the swarms communicate within themselves and beyond better than ever before, and even one death can trigger a rage frenzy within a grouping. Many demensi might fall for whatever tactics and weapons do the enemies soon to come have up their sleeves but their numbers are sure to prove these truly mad warriors of The Devourer victorious… or so did The Devourer think.
While one could have thought that the training took place all along the clouds of mad beasts, in truth large sectors of them dedicated their time to a certain other task - with their small size and strong will, Deus ordered those collaborative critters to help it with arming the army soon to arrive at their homeland. With the instructions spread far and wide in the PM, no more clarifications were needed for the swarms that stretch close to the horizon for anything flying above - metal was swiftly melted and molded with hundreds of tiny arms and limbs, firearms were carried on the backs of dozens, and the entrances to the PM were filling up with various weapons ready for the first soldiers to come to take them into their hands.

NPC - Paucipoda Narrenists, “Darren” - HO

Mutations: Drugs X 2 (+1 Strength, +1 Stealth), Bonding (+1 Stealth)
DM: Expand Army (+1 Strength)

P. Narrenists have found a liking of whatever their crawling brethren were doing at the time of the preparations for the final battle, as they observed their research teams experiment with some strange chemicals. With their permission, the darrens have too acquired some of those early drugs, but they would find themselves disappointed when it turned out that due to evolutionary drift, their brains were no longer as potent to this kind of substances as of their relatives. With no better results coming from this drug, it seemed like this whole project would go to waste, but just then a subset of those war researchers of the darren kin decided to switch to a closely related chemical family and this turned out to be everything needed! However with the little time remaining those drugs could not be refined as much as the ones of the TeaKingal type, and with the day of the battle arriving, a safe, though less potent substance for the darrenlings was handed over to the soldiers either rushing or already standing at the future battlefield. Speaking of the soldiers, the Narrenist leaders decided that for this occasion there must be maximum participations, and with that nearly all were recruited into the ranks of the heavily armed army, while the few remaining were told to hide and rebuild the population in case the main army was completely eradicated. The leaders’ decision was in truth however not entirely alone to themselves, as sometime before Deus told them to increase the numbers of the darren armies, and the aforementioned solution was the easiest one for them to come up with and execute. So many new soldiers however meant that the overall skill level and bonding of the barracs have gone down drastically, and something was needed to combat this. In the last week before the end, the many legions of darrenling soldiers would start intense training, meant to heighten their skillage once more and additionally make them care more about eachother, which effect would bring much needed rage if their companions died in the fight. This would be especially useful with the substances given out to everyone, as the rage could be expected to be more powerful under the psychotic effect… That’s at least what some hope for as lights descend from the already bright sky above upon the New Trench PM.

Mutations: Play Chess with Darkblur, Heal + Free Darkblur
Sapiobots: Throne Cybershield Upgrade

Deus seems to have realized now that the forum is on a timer until things get really heated, old rivalries must be set aside for the place to be saved once more. This was the case for Darkblur, an entity which ever since being defeated hasn’t even twitched, seemingly having accepted it’s eternal defeat. It found it surprising when the one to have ordered the contruction of the machine to take it down came around Tartarus to… play a human board game with it. But it wasn’t any board game - it was one of the older, classical ones, Chess! Intrigued, Darkblur seems to have momentarily at least abandoned it’s stance and took great interest in playing the match. At beginning evently matched, by the end Deus was however clearly winning, this did not deter the blur to give up however as it found a solution where instead of a clean victory Deus received a bitter stalemate instead. After this no so exciting conclusion to a chess game the sarcophaguses inner cell would be emptied and then opened to the world outside as ordered by the Archmage god. It even made it so that instead of damaging anti-mist liquid it’s former enemy would be bathed with healing fluids. Finally, the being of nodes could again look at the blur in it’s full glory - only to tell it that there’s a large danger coming, one that holds many similarities with the battle against the divine being known as Corrosion which happened multiple months ago now. With the ex-imprisoned swiftly moving to some other place, Deus returned to the sapiobots whomst it has inquired this time around to install cybershields on the Throne, a move that should eliminate the sources of harm that have previously cost the flying chunk of metal much damage when it found the just freed blur. As it appears, after a streak of what could be lightly taken as “underdeliveries” the sapiobots installed the shields just as the “god of gods” wished, making the Throne at least in theory completely impenetrable for any attacks. With the flying mountain now waiting to be deployed at the site of the battle, Deus looked at the immense armies gathered at the site - they surely dwarfed the squabble that took place here two months ago, as nearly every post of the PM was filled to the brim with plentiful soldiers, robots, and whatnot. One oddity did stand out to Deus though - the anti-mistworm, meant to upgrade itself this month, seems to have been facing some problems instead and held the improvement within - could it be some sort of battle stress is needed to let the upgrade do it’s work?

Mutations: GEM-Nanobots (+1 Strength to ALL Covenant Species), Ark-Simulator, Cerecorpus - Pocket Dimension Help (+1 CStrength)
DM: Pocket Dimension Gene-Save

C. Venenatorum have for a long time hold considerable interest in the Glorious Metal the divider species which gave rise to this one was so famous for. Only this final month before the last battle however did the venomous wall crabs really get interested with what the GEM truly had to offer. The first thing that came to their mind was to engineer tiny agents from the metal of seemingly limitless capabilities that would aid whatever they are injected into from the inside. Using precise tools, and despite not even being truly sapient, the crabs managed to weave some GEM into a genome that would then print out nanobots made of the most pristine metal. Knowing their limits in the field of genetics now, the crabs that cling to the walls also pondered if they could do the same with regular genetic material, and after a few days an organic nanobot vial was also acquired, though those seem to be much inferior to their GEM protoplasts. Within the circles of the smartest Cancorumi, some have taken up the stance that even if the combined forces of The Covenant and other forum alliances win against the beings divine, some kind of a reserve beyond the forum should be created by the users who have originally helped the ark reach the forums beyond. After packaging the genomes of all the forum species into precisely defined databases, they were given to those users, whomst have soon made their attempts at creating sites where forum life could be reborn. But even though everything about the databases was polished to the finest detail, there was one thing holding the users back from making the simulations work - the abstractive capacity of the creatures was seemingly too much to create even a simulation of a singular critter. Despite many attempts over the month, nothing even close to a working simulation was created, with limp bodies being visualized at best. Not being told of this failure however by the users disappointed, the wall crabs decided to aid their artificial species, the ghost crabs, with their space warping abilities. Already being quite strong, those forces acting upon the fabric of the forum itself did not take long before enclosed spaces were created, though they did take much energy to be held separate from the rest of the forum. This newly found capacity was very soon used when Deus suddenly sent an order demanding the creation of a database containing all the information needed to recreate the forum species, all within a pocket dimension of some sort. The limits of the tiny cyberspacial crabs were soon proven when they managed to separate the swiftly created database clean from the forum proper and hold it still like that indefinitely, though with the help of a few hundred ghosts indeed. But with the powers of the beings soon to invade the forum not fully understood, can it be for certain that those genes are safe, or will they perish without any effort?

willow - Cancrorum Cerecorpus, “Ghost Crab” - HO

  • Microscopic Cyberlifeform

Mutations: Pocket Dimensions (+1 CStrength), PD Hives (+1 CStrength), Size Decrease (Microscopic) + Cancrorum - Pocket Dimension Help (+1 CStrength)
DM: Pocket Dimension Help

C. Cerecorpus are quite unique creatures as they do not have physical bodies. This has the unique effect of them being able to get smaller than what would be possible for a being with a physical form. The decrease in size took effect especially this month as from the size of a few pixels the crabs suddenly shrunk to just below a pixel in size when fully grown, granting them the new size classification of “microscopic”. Just when this transformation had come to an end, the wall crabs approached the sites of major ghost crab concentration and took away some ghosts for space bending experiments. When they came back, they were capable of bending space into enclosed pocket dimensions, which ability quickly spread in the ghost crab species, and then got improved further, with more delicate structures now capable of being woven with space itself! One of the more practical of such precise structures were the newly-created ghost crab hives which, being nearly entirely hidden in space, with only a tiny hole connecting the separated region to the forum proper, were a fine addition to the New Trench at the time of the preparation for the upcoming battle. It is now known how well will the crabs that call only the cyberspace home do against actual enemies, with divine powers even, but they sure are going to be an useful asset… hopefully. In other news, together with their creators, and at the commands and instructions of Deus, a comprehensive database of the forum creatures genomes, fitted with special souls that would print the creatures with genesis, was created, with it’s goal being the rebuilding of forum life in case the forces at New Trench failed and the biota elsewhere perished. As a part of this project, a couple hundred ghosts were tasked with keeping this relatively large pocket dimension separated from the forum beyond, and so they stuck to the surface of the separation for an eternity now as they one by one expelled their energy on keeping the form of the separation together before resting and passing the duty to the next ghost crab. In some minds residing there, being now too small for any human, even ones from RC, to study, an idea was born - what if… the beings about to enter the forum too had some kind of space bending abilities? There was however no basis to the idea, and it remained at the isolated site anyways.

The New Trench was ready to face whatever is to come next. Each species of the forum has sent here at least a majority of it’s population, and for some this fight was for their homeland and not just the forum as a whole. Soldiers of wildly varying sizes, robots usually towering above them, turrets and other defensive structures peeking wide or high from the ground, jets ready to start their flight and shoot down enemies into a fiery plight, war machines that can be put into action at any moment, they all were at the place. The critters especially were looking around nervously, expecting their sworn enemies to descend upon the place at any moment. But as time passed and nothing happened, some started to lose interest. Flying creatures swooped down and landed wherever there was still place as to not waste their stamina, and conversations filled up the air so filled with the links of the glorious hivemind. And when the focus on the topic of the congregation seemed to be at it’s lowest…

Very, veeery well…

I can see you have brought your strongest to this place of your soon-to-be calamity.

This was certainly not the voice of Corrosion, it must belong to the entity so far only Deus has conversed with! The focus and attention of the armies immediately skyrocketed, the downed flying took to the skies once more, and mass movement occured when above one post of considerable size a red blaze descended, and with it the more well known deity of shifting metal…

You down there will not need those who cowardly hide beyond this place then… Hear them exhale their last scittish scream!

And just as this speech of Corrosion’s came to an end, a bang of noise was suddenly heard by all around this place. Deus suddenly felt like it’s connection to the rest of the node system was cut away, causing much agony, whilst those standing at the ground and some flying in the air had terror paint itself in their eyes as amongst the noise they heard screams of not just hundreds of thousands of forum beings, but the most prominent of them all, the cries of their closest family and friends left beyond the walls of this PM. Just in a few seconds the noise came to an end, and yet everyone’s morale here fell through the floor… Whereas the two colored deities seemed to not have a care in the world, if not even be a bit cheered from this ungodly strike.

Evaporated away in mere seconds… The rest of the forum is now no more hospitable than the places beyond you little dumb insects thought you could inhabit, ha ha!

While most felt defeated even more with this statement of who they thought could do little against them, Deus was worried about Darkblur out of everyone - if they aren’t here already, the chances are they are already dead! It doesn’t know how does the blur scream like, and so it can only hope it hides somewhere in this thread for some reason…

Oh wait, didn’t we forget someone?

Deus had high hopes despite their brutality these gods would bring a powerful ally to the scene, perhaps overestimating how much they could handle. But instead, suddenly a few posts away from the blaze a portal of some kind suddently opened and from it a strange being of large size was thrown at the nearest post, causing dozens of soldiers there to be squashed. When the entity stood up on it’s four legs, it became quickly recognized as some kind of a fusion between all the outsiders. Fortunately, this being, soon to be nicknamed “Soleye” by the users, sought alliance with The Covenant as it seems, and whilst the quick unity was being sealed, the two divines had been talking something between eachother, before the one hidden in the bright blaze moved a bit back and Corrosion came forward with the following thing to say:

Now… It’s time to get done with this!

Of course. I will let you deal with them by yourself Corossion… for now. Fun is to be shared!

With the emotional status of the soldiers across the PM now significantly reedemed, seconds remain before first shots are fired at the two… What shall happen now?

The Final Battle will be divided into multiple parts, between each part you will be able to change your strategy, their amount will depend on how your species perform in the last battle of this forum game.

realistically they would take energy to keep connected to the rest of the forum, not to hold apart from the rest of the forum, since the pocket space would be a literal pocket made of space that is only connected to the outside world by two spots[1] and cause the size of the entrance/exit is the width of a needle
and also cause there would kinda be a ringularity at the border of the entrance/exit and it would immediately collapse and evaporate without being upkept by anything, and the ringularity would be both the result of the tunnel between the two spaces, and the thing creating the portal between the two spaces
which also means no information or matter or energy could be sent to or recieved from anything inside a pocket dimension if its entrance and exit close, except maybe by a 4+ dimensional creature that knows how to interact with 3d space, or by pure chance connecting to a black hole in a space it was not previously connected to

  1. and space would loop in one or more dimensions, or possibly all of them(which would mean the energy in the pocket dimension must remain constant except for energy gained or lost through the expansion of space, the type of pocket dimension i meant is one where all the spatial dimensions loop but realistically it would have two be infinite and only one loop, for the first layer ↩︎

Well neither extra dimensional creatures nor black holes exist in that forum so :person_shrugging:

the forum is a 3d euclidean space, so realistically the pocket dimensions would be completely separate spaces that just happen to inherit all the properties of the space they were created from(the forum), but after the pocket dimensions get disconnected, they would no longer be part of the forum, but still have all the properties it had/has, so they’d still be alive and able to use a black hole to enter a completely separate universe
(and if the forum has gravity as a constant downwards force then that plus hyperspherical space is gonna be a Fun way to make infinite power)

We’ll see if that’s the case (if someone tries doing that).

i already did all the setup
and panic is one hell of a drug for anything that can do it
so it wouldn’t be irresponsible to assume that most of the C. cerecorpus who were in pocket dimensions would rip the pocket dimension they were in from the rest of space with their space bending powers in response to all the screams (especially of the psychic variety cause those’ll move faster) coming through the microscopic tunnel between the pocket space and the forum in the instant before they’d die as well(and they’d have a little bit of time cause there’d be very little space for whatever the presence/overabundance/lack of killed everything to get into the pocket dimensions through, due to the entrance being the width of a needle)
