You mean the divine beings like Corrosion?

I don’t think it was designed to target the outsiders.

It was designed to target any hostile being.

How does it identify hostiles? Does it have a database of known unwanted entities or does it base it’s knowledge off of what it observes?

It intelligently identifies hostiles not only from observation, but also utilizing input given to them by Deus directly.

I see. Well then…

Should Round 62.5 be redone to factor in the new trench fortifications?

Round 63 - Year 5, Month 5

Following the rather significant battle that took place last month between the nine outsiders and the forces at the Devourer’s disposal, it appears like the divine beings that have lingered over this place since the appearance of the creatures have finally decided to set a deadline for the ones within the forum - upon it’s arrival, who knows what will happen to the website’s inhabitants…

Non-Species Entities

Outsider Group

STARGUN STATUS:
-5/10 HP (Regen: 2HP/Round)
-Has two abilities: Jumping High and Far, and Shooting From It’s Gun
-Looks like a rifle-like gun installed ontop of a starfish-like being
-Appears to have been created from two different entities

STUMPSPAWN STATUS:
-8/10 HP (Regen: 2HP/Round)
-Has two abilities: Energy Shield and Plant-Bee Spawning
-Looks somewhat like a stump, with 4 large legs used for walking and 4 smaller, more upward-facing “roots” between the legs, and a bark-like texture. The top of the being is occupied by a large strusture which looks like a closed flower the color of a pink rose
-Appears to have been created from two different entities

SHARPWING STATUS:
-8/10 HP (Regen: 2HP/Round)
-One known ability: Launching Spears, One unknown ability
-The main body appears to have lots of sharp, spear-like appendages at the bottom and on the sides, at the top there are two pairs of wings attatched to a bulge running the length of the entity. Always flying.
-Appears to have been created from two different entities

SPADEBUG STATUS:
-3/5 HP (Regen: 1HP/Round)
-Known Ability: Piercing Barrage
-Looks like some sort of a beetle, the tips of it’s legs are tipped with sharp spearheads through

SANITIZER STATUS:
-4/5 HP (Regen: 1HP/Round)
-Known Ability: Acidic Soap

SERPHANT STATUS:
-4/5 HP (Regen: 1HP/Round)
-Known Ability: Fiery Glow
-Looks like a fiery snake with 3 pairs of insect-like wings at the top of it’s body which allow it to fly somewhat

SHIELDSWORD STATUS:
-3/5 HP (Regen: 1HP/Round)
-One known ability: Slashing Barrage
-Looks like a shield-shaped hybrid of an isopod and a tortoise, possessing two large “blades” in the narrow section of the shield which have a surprisingly large degree of movement and rotation.

SONAR STATUS:
-4/5 HP (Regen: 1HP/Round)
-One known ability: Wave-Stun

SPEEDER STATUS:
-3/5 HP (Regen: 1HP/Round)
-Known Ability: Side Change Touch
-Looks like a very thin spider or even a harvestman, known to be able to reach quite the impressive velocities.

Band Action: Combine

The Outsiders have noticed from their last battle that not much damage has to be dealt for them to be forced into acting with more caution than action. This is especially the case for the six weaker outsiders, which could possibly even get killed by a single stronger attack summoned by a strong opponent like the Devourer or other species-gods the band has seen in the battle against Corrosion. This quickly gave all the members of this gang of nine an interesting idea - if they merged into a single entity, it would be capable of sustaining much more damage without having to withdraw. Even though the continuity of the minds these aliens have is not guaranteed, their hatred for Devourer is more than enough to convince them to take such a dramatic step. Not long into this month, all the nine would gather near Stumpspawn, which soon created an energy shield which didn’t allow anything to pass through, rendering the process unfolding within the shield mysterious to everyone outside. Not exactly sure what has been going on down there meanwhile, members of TOR came forward with some more information about the outsiders to the wider user forum public, with which data regeneration rates of all these beings have been reconstructed.

Mistdom Group

DARKBLUR STATUS:

-1/60 HP (Regenerates 5 0 HP per Month[Round])
-Insanely fast, can scale hundreds of posts in seconds
-Looks like a disturbing pseudo-humanoid figure within a “dark bubble”
-Three known offensive ability - “Hypnosis” (can convert weaker-minded entities to it’s side), “Darkbeams” (light ranged attack), “Shadowblast” (AOE attack)
-Suspected to have attained more abilities following it’s absorption of The Mistorb, only time will tell what they are…
-By far the most powerful member of The Mistdom, EVER
-Fused with the soul of a rather obsessed, insane mistdom-aligned user
-Has some users on it’s command (unknown to other community members)
-Has two action votes it casts every Month(Round)
-Controls BSA (which is given an order by darkblur every month [round], has 50% of reroll in case of roll of 1)
-Darkblur is now trapped in the Tartarus, incapable of actions at the moment
-Now being left on it’s own, with some having witnessed the fatal battle, BSA will try to reorganize and find it’s master.
-BSA now in hands of a pro-covenant faction

BSA (darkblur-aligned faction) Action: Split Off (4/6)

At the month’s beginning, the Mistdom Faction of BSA was rather certain that it would successfully split off into a cult following of Darkblur before more members could be stripped away. However, Deuses actions would end this dream rather sharply, as three campaigns, two of whcih were conducted phenomenaly, managed to turn most of the faction away from the last remaining “Darkblur Followers”. The third campaign has more or less completely destroyed what little remained of what barely could be called a faction anymore, with the full might of BSA now under control of creature enthusiast that are not cult members, though BSA has became much more simialar to MwTC now. That being said, within the circles of ex-BSA-core members there have been circling gossips and beliefs that a tiny amount of the most dedicated and determined cultsmen, three at most, have indeed successfully isolated themselves before their could hear their beliefs being proven wrong by Deus. Can just one, two, or even three such people however really make much of a difference? Probably not…

Species

NPC - Sapiepoda TeaKinges, “The Crawler” - HO

  • Medium Omnivore

Mutations: Cyber-Force X 2 (+2 Strength)
DM: Better Cyber-Generators

S. TeaKinges as a species have been using cyberspace and other elements of this strange realm forming a mirror reflection of the baseline forum more or less since their ascension into sapiencehood. Over time, this relation between the critters and the cyberspace grew stronger, though at the same time it lagged behind other fields of development - be that weaponry, standard of living, even the structure of the beings themselves. Some researchers that have walked the forum have long suspected that quite possibly there are combat aspects of cyber-layer that have not yet been noticed, much less explored, which could bring quite the count of benefits, perhaps even carving a permanent change into the world these crawlers call home. Eventually the leadership of the civilization formed years ago would decide that it is time to put more resources into cyberenergy and cyberspace aspects. As these realms and their properties are not so well understood, at least in comparison with the main layer of the forum, at first it was rather difficult to find anything new here at all that would differ from the old-yet-solid theories made about this place. However, eventually something caught the attention of the crawler researchers - they noticed that the will of creatures can have an impact on the surrounding cyberspace. At extremely emotional phases, these disturbances caused by desparate wills may even cause “hallucinations” in all standing near their source. For a long time this was though to just be an side-effect of seeing someone in such despair or hate. However now that it is known to have direct links to the cyberrealm, some have suggested that perhaps enhancing these distubances would yield a result of entities being able to significantly influence the mirror space without even needing to be there. Weeks were spent on different “magnifying” designs that were trying to focus and multiply the power of “willpower’s cyberenergy” before one was finally chosen and put into mass production. The benefits coming from this discovery were significant enough that very soon more or less all warriors the species is known on were equipped with the new invention. Thanks to it, cyberspace is now much less safe from main-space assaults…
While all this was happening in the scientific circles, the workers of which the species too has plenty of were sent by orders of Deus to work on improving the designs made for cyber-energy generators located in nexus currently. As the original designs were made in just the span of a few weeks, soon enough areas of possible improvement were spotted and the needed changes were implemented into generators old, though blueprints were also made for making the improved cybergenerators from scratch.

Mutations: Use GEM to conceal against Divine Beings (-1 Divine Population Damage), GEM-fixing (+1 Strength)
DM: GEM Muscles (+1 W Speed to ALL Species)

Nd. Cogitandi have recently gained an interest for the bionic legs that have originally been invented by the species under the grasp of the Devourer. While these bionics were already rather powerful in their current form, many reserchers that were mostly made of GEM by this point have suggested that these legs should too get infused with GEM, perhaps even to such a point that they would entirely be made of the grand metal. Soon enough research started across the whole divider world to find such a GEM configuration which would allow the metal heavenly in power to act like muscles, except superior in every way to these biological filaments or their counterparts used in the artificial legs so far. The research however stalled for many weeks before Deus, the leader of the whole biota which calls the forum home, stepped in to get even more researchers into the project, including some that were just highly-GEM-infused scientists of other species. With the workforce trying to construct the perfect artificial limb now increased greantly in it’s counts, it would not take long before a correct pathway was taken which granted such benefits that all others ways attempted by other researcher groups were immediately scrapped after the announcement of it’s discovery. By the month’s end, GEM-legs as they are commonly known would enter circulation across the entire forum. However, whilst the legs were just to enter production, some have noticed that the high amount of tearing involved in the work of muscles could potentially grind these legs much faster than though, and so attempts were made last-minute to fix the problem. The least expected happened however - a group that has been working on a certain project over multiple months and generations of creatures by this point has decided to finally come forward and show their invention to this emergency team. What they have created is rather bizarre - small metallic agents, nanobots perhaps even one could call these, were introduced into various broken GEM parts, including some purposefully damaged GEM artificial legs. In an almost magic manner, these GEM particles could fix the objects to their unbroken states, and some of the more “pitiful” ones even received improvements from the microscopic machines. And so, as the month came to an end, there were two major inventions being talked about all across the forum - the legs, AND the GEM-bots.
Howver, a different group worked on an another project involving something most only had in the back of their minds - the beings divine. Knowing they have wide sights, the team of various dividers no smaller than the team which worked on the GEM legs started experimenting with various materials and processes to try to find something that would render at least part of the forum safe from being observed. However, week after week, a solution to the problem has not been found. Some claimed to be it, but they all soon were disproven by either external circles of researchers beyond the project, or the doubtful ones within the team. Soon enough however, members of the crew felt as if some presence has been observing them. Day after day, they felt as if it was approaching, coming closer, focusing more and more on their project…
One faithful day around the time the GEM-bots entered circulation around the markets of the forum, the team in the post they happened to be conducting research in at the moment felt something has finally arived. Anticipating this, they have shipped designs for the most promising “conclearers” to smaller teams if not just skilled individual all across the forum. Now, before them as they moved onto the surface of the post, “stood” Corrosion…

You here really cannot abandon looking into us, eh?

Unfortunately for you, I have been observing your pitiful attempts at shielding yourselves from our sight ever since you have assembled. I have simply chosen to reveal my presence only a few days ago…

The team was all frozen in place. Some knew they are probably about to die. Others realized they are standing before what probably is a “God” in a way. Some were mesmerized by the way sharp blades sunk back and forth between the surface and the innersides of the machineous being which already has shown itself many time here.

Do not you worry. In a month or so you all will be freed from your misery.

No use to Corrode stuff before that happens…

Surprisingly to most gathered atop one of their research bases, Corrosion simply left the place in a blink-of-an-eye flash of light without doing any more damage. One thing is clear though - Doomsday is approaching. The news of the incident aswell as the whole message carried by the being from beyond were soon carried to all the most important figures within the forum - Species Gods, Deus, Lesser Gods, Leaders. What shall they do in the closing days of this realm?

@CatSquared - Multipoda Cat-Bestiae, “Cat Beasts” - UC-

  • Tiny Omnivore

Mutations: Recover, 100 Proto-Devourers (+1 Strength)
DM: Recover

M. Cat-Bestiae species, following the battle against the nine outsiders which have slain a considerable portion of the total force making up Devourer’s armies, has been put into recovering mode, in which it shall not just get it’s population back to the levels from before the attack. This goal however proved to be more difficult to achieve in practice than in theory, and so by the end of the month the goal has been missed considerably. Other point of the program instated upon the species by both the Devourer and even Deus itself was to re-train the skilled cultists which once made this species a formiddable force even against it’s rather small population. This goal was achieved much more thoroughly than the first one, with both the training level and count of the new army matching the ones of the previous one, though one thing which could use being addressed are the mistakes of the Devourer forces sustained against the outsiders, which could be studied to show weak spots to be addressed. Devourer itself meanwhile realized that the realm under it’s wrath will need a ruler similar to it in case some force, perhaps the gang, manage to successfully kill this god of three species in total. The hundred or so cat-beasts gathered during the battle have not all survived, but they gave the soul god an idea. In the second halve of the month, once again exactly a hundred individual beasts the most skilled out of all the cultists were gathered before Devourer. Most were probably expecting to be absorbed like so manu cat-beasts in the times when Devourer was just created but no, they instead were ordered to go through such a training program that by the time they exited it in a week or so they would more or less become mini-devourers. And this is exactly what happened - after the end of this training, Devourer has attained a group that could carry on it’s ideals and plans even after it’s death, even inheriting some of the energy the god of souls has plenty of under it’s skin. Devourer however still wanted to preserve itself nevertheless and so it ordered a special armor set to be made for it by the two “lesser” species under it’s rule. Once the thralls and the devourlings finished their job, the Devourer became much more durable at least in theory, with the practical test hopefully not soon to follow…

Mutations: Recover, Devourer Armor
DM: Rebuild NT Lab

C. Cultus may have suffered losses even more devastating than the ones of the cat-beast ilk, as the amount of it’s population would only be in lower double digits following the battle. Worse yet, the species of Devourer-applauding crabs did not receive as much orders of recovery as the species from which Devourer is originally from, as instead of there being a focus on rebuilding the soldier skills this kin now mostly lacks, most were instead turned into cult-researchers, which this month had a single plan in mind - constructing the perfect armor for their god and lord. This was no easy task, as the large weight of The Devourer already limited it from reaching higher speeds, and a heavy armor ontop of that would certainly worsen the situation even more. Studying potential materials that could be used to create this sacred shield of sorts, it was rather quickly agreed upon that the metal of glory and evolution is the right pick in this case. Not only is it rather light when compared with some other suggested alternatives, it also is surprisingly durable. Once the project of the Devourer armor, a shielding certainly fit for a god and the ruler of not one, not two, but three species, was complete, the execution of it’s construction was not made by the designers of the armor, but by an another species in the Devourer’s collection - that being the Thralls, also known by many as the mad beasts. While from an outsider perspective this does not seem like too bad of a deal, especially as the builders of the armor are known to carry out great loads of labor with almost no sweat, for the crabs it seems like they were not allowed to finish their art.
Deus however soon has blown away the feeling of some bizarre sort of “betrial” from the species by… ordering even more work to be done, this time instead of just theorizing the crabs were invited to construct a new laboratory like the one of the older days of the new trench PM, although once more the thralls were too made builders of the lab. In the matter of just a few days, the new structures both above and below the surface of multiple posts were ready for scientists and researchers from all around the forum to work within. That is some true dedication from two ilks which have spent so long in one small thread of sorts…

Catsquared - Multipoda Demens, “Mad Beasts” - ID-

  • Tiny Omnivore

Mutations: Recover, Construct Devourer’s Armor
DM: Rebuild NT Lab

M. Demens much like their devourling crab “cousins” were not given the full taste of recovery within this month, instead mostly the labour part of the species has been ressurected from the couple of thralls which did not throw themselves at the attacks of the outsiders. Also like the crabs, they were assigned a task of constructing the armor to be worn by the Devourer itself. However both species were given two distinct parts of this process - the crabs have designed the whole ordeal of metal, whereas the thralls were made to turn this design into reality. When the full project was given to the collective of the “mad” beasts, they at first were confused as to how are they ought to shape GEM like that. It was not a problem in itself how to get the material, infact there already was plenty of glorious metal hidden in stotages across the trench anew. With their compromised intelligence, the thralls turn out to be even less smart than the crabs which never were sapient to begin with. The expected deadline by which the armor was to be delivered to the Devoruer approached fast, and only in the last two days of the attempts did the Thralls manage to stitch together all the pieces of the armor in the correct way, and make sure everything is as it was planned to be in the designs. Following the acquiration of the armor by the Devourer however, a new task was given to the beasts mad which also involved cooperation with their crab bretren - this time around it was the creation of a new lab so that the functions of the old one, destroyed by the being from above, can be resumed. And once again the thralls found themselves as the construcking folk whereas the crabs mostly focused on designing the buildings and structures of the laborathory, albeit some attempted to start building against what most would expect. As the month came to an end, the crabs and the thralls came to know each other more closely than before, though maybe not for the best cause of them all…

NPC - Paucipoda Narrenists, “Darren” - HO

  • Huge Omnivore

Mutations: Weaponized GEM-bots (+2 Strength)
DM: Sky Missile

P. Narrenists have been following the trends surrounding GEM for a good while now, as they are pretty well aware that the metal of extreme glory has most likely got many qualities not yet explored properly. Early into the month, some scientists from a long-going project belonging to the divider kin have shared insights about a “GEM-bot” technology which could prove useful for the militaristic Darrens. The leaders of the legions obviously accepeted the deal and got prototypes of these tiny machines for the price of money much needed by these researchers to continue expanding a more “standard” version of the bots. Once they left the site of the deal, many Narrenist war-scientists would acquire copies of the originally purchased GEM-bot, which could replicate just by being given some of that glorious metal, turning it into puddles of moving mass. Early experiments conducted on some persons with GEM implants proved that this technology was rather lethal if used properly, as the bots not only could dissolve the aritificial pieces in matter of minutes, but they have also proven to be rather useful for shaping, and in this case rather tearing apart flesh of the test subjects. Indirectly destructive methods too were soon discovered, as with their tiny size the bots could very easily merge the holy metal and the flesh of the forum critters with such precision and on such scales the “implantors” could never dream of achieving. It did not take even until the dusk of the month before various legions started “producing” soldiers infused with GEM-bot technology. They were easily much more resiliant to damage than their non-infused counterparts, and also represented the kind of hybrid metal-organic creatures which have been pushed the furthest to the metal side, with some within-the-forum people even questioning if they really are members of their species anymore and not robots by this point.
Deus also had a bit of a plan going on with this species briefly during the month. With the aid of some of the most qualified scientists of the “pure” kind this rather violent species has to offer, a special rocket was constructed on the base of a miliary missile, with special GEM shielding that should keep it relatively cool even high into the sky. Preparations did not take long - the launch commenced soon after the completion of the special machine. In a few dozen seconds it has already flown higher than any creature before, with temperatures outside in such ranges that any material not GEM or GEM-like would have melted by now. The rocket continued to rise for minutes, with temperature linearly increasing to extreme amounts. Just as it was to run out of fuel, something strange, and yet expected happened - contact was cut. However, the strucure of the rocket should not have allowed much of any heat to get though, and temperatures where the rocket has reached should not have been enough to melt GEM. With that, some, including Deus, theorized that the forumclad must also form a dome high into the fiery blazes of the sky…

Mutations: Weaken Core BSA Mist Alignment X 3 (6/6, 6/6, 3/6)
Sapiobots: Cyberlazer (2(1+1)/6) (+1 Strength)

This month around Deus would strike the core of BSA with such campaigns that very quickly from a collective of many dozen users the sub-organization shrunk down to single digits just in two weeks. Effective information campaigns made these people realize that they’re in fact supporting a murderer which wants to exploit them one way or another, as far as digital beings can coerce factual entities. As each week passed, a new sub-campaign started. The first two, very successful, took out most of the core BSA members, bringing them to the pro-covenant faction within that alliance. In the third week, the last campaign was started to get rid of all remaining pro-mistdom members of the alliance. It is thought that the campaign eliminated all remaining users of this kind, but some say one to three users most invested in spreading the word of the Mist and Darkblur might have simply gone silent, hiding from the wider userbase for now at least. With that, it appears that Mistdom as it is just has one member left remaining - that being the blur trapped deep within the tartaran PM.
At the same time as this was happening, the Sapiobots were carrying out the important task given to them by Deus this month around - they were to implement the cyber-laser technology from theory to reality. However immediately stuff would not go the way the robots wanted, as it turned out some theories about the nature of cyberspace within the project’s documentation have been turned invalid over the following months, though it appeared most of the techncalities have not been otherwise affected. After around a week fixing these problems with the theoretical part of cyberlaser, time came to construct a prototype. It did not take long to make the first one, but the first test has proven disasterous - the cyberlaser got uncontrollable, causing the entire post inside which the testing chamber was located to blow up! Fortunately the bots managed to quickly recover their numbers and even build a new testing space, but from now on they decided to be much more caucious. This meanwhile caused the progress on turning the prototype into a “finished” product to vastly slow down. By the end of the month, after dozens more trials, a production line of cyberlasers was constructed, which products just barely meets the minimum requirements stated by Deus. This one invention seems to be a blind spot for the Sapiebots…

@willow - Cancrorum Venenatorum, “Venomous Wall Crab” - HO

Mutations: Forum Cloning (6/6), Gene Database
DM: Soul Divine Feeding (4/6)

C. Venenatorum has for a long time held a strong connection with the users of the forum, making them appreciate the creatures living inside it more than previously. Now however, time came to ask for more of a favor from them than for them to ask for a favor from the crabs. Knowing well the humans behind the screens by observing them for years by this point, wallcrab groups requested the more technologically adept users, especially those with a respectable amount of data storage left empty, to attempt copying the forum’s entirety and then pasting them onto their devices while having their connection to the internet cut. The carefully chosen picks would soon respond, and a majority has chosen to help out the crabs in their mission to answer some questions. Additionally, the devices onto which the forum was to be copied to were various in design, allowing more insight to be gathered. However, when reports started coming in, it became clear that variety did not cause much change between the volunteering users’ reports: in none of the cloned forums did creatures live, although there were signs of past creature activity, like missing letters and stuff. At the same time certain deeper details, like holes in posts leading to chambers within or even the various “games” constructed by the wallcrab kin long ago were nowhere to be seen. Additionally, connecting to the internet does not seem to have changed anything. With the aid of the involved people, a conclusion was reached - it appears that the main forum specifically allows the amount of detail the creatures have created to exist.
As this was happening a group not much smaller decided to construct a new database with all the unique genes of all the species within the forum, which was rather easy to do considering all the species are part of one alliance now. The database did not provide any benefits by itself, but useful modifications could be applied to the entire wallcrab species with enough effort and courage by it’s leadership…
Besides these two projects, Deus too as every month made some orders for this species. This month’s one was to have souls use divine energy directly. Finding the energy was trivial as it is already well-known where it exists - it’s supposedly all around the forum! A harder task however turned out to be how to make it be the only energy available for the souls. With enough effort however everything but the mysterious energy was sealed off from the picked souls. The team doing this on orders of Deus would wait three weeks before returning to the enclosed souls, only to see that… absolutely nothing happened. It is almost as if this kind of energy simply cannot be used by beings like the ones within the forum, or even humans for that matter. The “divine beings” however perhaps could possess the ability to manipulate it, as the memory of the “first contact” with the entities remains vivid in the minds of many. Deus was disappointed but not surprised - for pretty much all divine energy experiments in the past too ended like this. The “God of Gods” however was interested to hear about the forum-copying initiative attempted by the crabs this month, even though it too ended with a “failure”.

willow - Cancrorum Cerecorpus, “Ghost Crab” - HO

  • Tiny Cyberlifeform

Mutations: Database-Holding (+1 Cyberstealth), Space Bending (+1 Strength)
DM: Inner Forumclad Experiment (6/6)

C. Cerecorpus’s information-invested subspecies would find the creation of the new database surely exciting, as these critters would gather around it’s location. This gave some wallcrabs the idea that perhaps the data stored within these buildings should also be stored inside these ghostly crabs, which would allow the information to persist for longer and additionally be safer. As of now only one of the two subspecies of this ilk has received the archive of all the information, but even then the amount of aid that gives these beings has allowed their awareness of their surroundings as well as the varioous tools and their wielders to rise dramatically. Directly following this increase of awareness within the first week of the month, the entire species would begin to experiment with just how powerful their cyberpower is. Most attempts have proven to be unsuccessful, but after some ghost crabs visited the sites where the crawlers were developing their cyber-force technology based off of the natural willpower of creatures, progress was made much faster. The species as a whole came to the conclusion that it will need to cooperate amongst it’s members to achieve the wanted results. And when these ghosts all worked together, the weirdest things would be done to the cyberspace all around them - it would bend dramatically, creating interesting flows of cyberenergy and even producing temporary pocket dimensions in the most outstanding cases. By the month’s end the ability now know as space-bending would be mastered by all the souls making up this strange species, and even very complex moves can now be done by just a handful of these “crabs”.
Deus was drawn in by the strange things going around it’s nodes, which are the size of buildings when compared with the tiny ghosts of the ghostcrab species. Seeing the unique properties developed by these critters, the highest god ordered some wallcrab ghostcrab specialists to try and see what happens when one of such beings is placed on the inner wall of the forumclad. However placing them on such a precise spot turned out to be more of a challenge than anticipated intially, as place was in dire need of being found where the forum directly met with the other internet realms without it being a link cut. One recently discovered place came to a few’s minds - the plausible forumclad done high up in the sky of all the threads and PMs. The light coming from there would obviously blind the ghosts, but they would surely be able to survive going all the way to the top. A few dozen were as so sent there. After a good hour or so three returned. They told that after reaching reaching a place where heat was indescribable, holding tightly to eachother they tried to touch the inner surface of the clad. For a while everything seemed to be going according to plan, but when time came for the last three, they realized something terrible happened - instead of clinging to the forumclad, their brethren have passed straight to the other side, where they probably were dissolved quickly. The remaining trio abandoned the attempt at the last moment and returned to the team anticipating much lower. It seems like no matter how hard does one try, clinging to the clad is not possible - you must either be within the forum, or beyond it, not on some sort of a boundary between the two.
