Our future civs would be picking these names right?
Another 13 million years later, this timelineβs equivalent of the Gaskierβs Glaciation occurred from 579 to 577 MYA due to changes caused by life. This timelineβs version of the Shuram Excursion, the largest depletion of Carbon seen in Earthβs rocks, begins at 576 MYA, with the causes unknown even in this timeline. Global temperatures continue to slowly climb due to new volcanic rifts forming on the edges of the Supercontinent Pannotia. This steady increase of average global temperatures has caused the large ice caps to completely melt, and when combined with increase in sea level temperatures, has made global sea levels increase to nearly 150 meters.
At the same time, some microscopic survivors of the strange meteor impact have finally started to reach sufficient population levels to be noticeable. Surface underwater, unicellular plants were bequeathed the power of Strengthening/Weakening (Other Organisms), and this power used on each other has started to accelerate their evolution. Waterborne, primordial multicellular plant-like organisms have formed all over the oceans much earlier than in the original timeline, causing a small increase in oxygen levels. This has led to what will be called the Adnya Glaciation to last much longer in duration. For now, these super powered plant cells are too far away from the deeper oceans where the Atla biota resides to have any possible major effects or interactions.
Other organisms, such as Purple Protists, will also come to prominence eventually. As will as the of the now dominating land offshoots of the firebending fungus.
Back in the deep ocean floor, the Atla biota has slowly continued to expand into more of the ocean floor, and new species have radiated from existed ones from Glaciation increased erosional resources to become what is known as the Mara Explosion. The associated Mara Assemblage is not the same as Avalon Assemblage in your original timeline. Arboreamorphs are a very small fraction of this timelineβs first macroscopic Assemblage, whereas strange fungus and tentacle, cnidarian-esque creatures have radiated into multiple species and forming symbiotic relationships. How much stranger will these descendants become?
Lantianelle laevis
The Controlling Super Power organism has established symbiosis with metazoan Sprigginia floundersi for better movement and fungus Xinuiningella rara for increase temperature regulation, and giving both organisms the protections against predators or each other. This is useful against the light flashing Arborea elegans, who is simply engaging in defense. Despite still being sessile in its adult stage, there are now more mixed colonies in farther places due to this organismβs influence. The symbiotic relationships established by the controlling power and Xinuiningella raraβs Mycelium network can allow these organisms to gather more food and coordinate better if needed. This will be needed with the increased competition of more underwater Fungi, armored organisms, and other sessile organisms with controlling powers to oppose it.

Xinuiningella rara
The sessile Firebending Fungus has started to spread further via miniature biological explosives, and gather more food using more side appendages with extensions. This organismβs Mycelium network has kickstarted symbiosis with providing Lantianelle laevis heat, who in turn, has also started endosymbiosis with Sprigginia floundersi. Greater food and avoidance of Sprigginia floundersi from this symbiosis have allowed this organism to congregate in greater numbers, but also, as a part of mixed species colonies. As a result of this symbiosis, Arborea elegans has limited contact with the Mycelium network. There is potential for possible movement in this collective, which may be become important as more organisms have split off, especially sonic ones.

Spriggina floundersi
This Invisible Power organism is the first in this Alterative Earthβs history to have leg-like limbs. Unfortunately, it is once again hindered by the thickening of its armor shell. Living among Microbial Mats is slowing down this organismβs potential for increased movement, but the mats are also its main source of food. Creating deeper and more unique patterns in these Mycelium-laced Microbial Mats is slowly clearing them, which may end up becoming a double-edged sword for this primordial shelled creature. At the same time, Lantianelle laevis has started symbiosis, getting increased range from its spores piggy-bagging on the Invisible organism in exchange for giving greater protection against other organisms, including Arborea elegans. With mixed colonies forming, this organism has become a key member in the ecosystem.

Flabellophyton Mystificus
The Attraction Power organism has developed Muscle cells for better gulping of prey, and better chemoreception for determining individual βarmβ distance. Whether these muscles will lead to better movement will be seen. Population density of this organism has increased, coming into contact with the mixed colonies of the controlling Lantianelle laevis, the invisible Spriggina floundersi, and the Mycelium network firebending fungus Xinuiningella rara. Due to the symbiosis, this organism now tends to avoid the mixed colonies due to protection gained by Lantianelle laevis, creating increased competition with offshoots of this organism. Interesting, some of these offshoots are forming mixed colonies of different βarmβ organisms. Like other organisms, it avoids being near Arborea elegans.

Vendoconularia triradiata
The polypars have increased in length, giving increased food and information gathering, and better sonic focusing. This has led to an increase in colony density, which are avoided by the mixed colonies of Lantianelle laevis, Spriggina floundersi, and Xinuiningella rara, and colonies of Flabellophyton Mystificus. Also, this organism has gained the ability to temporarily detach itself from the ocean, giving it a small ability to move, and increasing its range ever so slightly. This is important, as more organisms have started to split off, creating increased competition for food and space. There seems to be some additional antagonist relationship with the light bending Arborea elegans, but perhaps this relationship will change.

Arborea elegans
The Light Power organism is the first organism to have the ability to actually detect light. Unfortunately, the deeper oceans have no direct light, so the organism has become more concave and expends energy to create bursts of light to try and detect anything. This does lead some increase in food gathering by changing the ocean flood currents. Due to this, most other organisms tend to avoid this underwater light magician, especially Vendoconularia triradiata, and the Mycelium network of Xinuiningella rara. The lack of increasing nutrient intake is starting to hurt this organism, as it is starting to become outcrowded from a lack of significant population increase. With lower population, lack of range increase, and increased competition from resources of those that are in symbiosis and other supers powered that have split off, including from itself, this organism might not survive for the long term.
