Thalassopocalypse

Or maybe it’s something completely different considering aliens are a thing in this FG-verse…

@Cha I believe you haven’t submitted for round 4 yet? (I stand corrected you did)

Aren’t these their votes?

Oh I thought they were just explaining something.. Welp time to type up the round results.

Yeah I think they could have stated those more visibly as votes, didn’t see them as votes myself when first searching through the thread.

Well eusociality took a while so probably not. (You need to submit yours)

They also mentioned “tribes”, isn’t that an order of magnitude easier to develop?

Tribal behavior evolves in social species, trigonotarbids were solitary and cannibalistic.

…Yeah that would most certainly take a while to take back. Though seeing how recently lions and tigers diverged…

In that case I’ll further max out my stealth

I suppose we all are on a stealth grind for some reason

Severe changes to the biosphere have been detected, two new biomes have been created thanks to the evolution of semiaquatic plants. The oceanic ecosystem is slowly stabilizing yet is still fragile. Plankton have started bunching up near the surface in gooey mats. Life on the remaining land is mostly the same, although that may change as semiaquatic habitats form on the coast.

Looks like you guys have two new biomes thanks to @doomlightning

M1: Adapt to tolerate more moist environments too
M2: Spread to the mangroves

Let’s hope Doom’s population doesn’t decrease. Those mangroves may not last if their population goes down..

M1: MORE STEALTH!!! MORE!!!
M2: Some bouyancy

I suppose the toleration adaptations could have a different use later on not dependent on doom

Mutation 1: Small areas of skin around the Spikes have ossified into tiny, mini-protoarmor bone plates (protoplacoderm) to re-enforce those areas for greater defense against potential predators, as well as for more complex social and mating behaviors. These tiny, mini-protoarmor skin-bone spike plates do not prevent the formation of pockets to store endosymbiont photosynthetic Algae, and does not really slow down the organism.

Movement: Move to Central Mangroves.

Aren’t we supposed to only have 2 votes that can be either mutations OR movement?

I thought small organisms get two mutations and one movement.

Not sure how it was originally worded exactly. Perhaps let’s wait for animalia to come and correct what was thought wrong of.
