what about rocks possessed by worms that are strong enough to move them?
Biomechs only. You can’t summon a planet just because there are some tiny worms inside of it.
i wasn’t gonna try to summon a planet, in one piece. by rocks possessed by worms i meant asteroids being used as an exoskeleton by one or more worms that are at least a % the volume of it, like the cavedigger worms from floatin’.
also what happens if someone summons a creature that evolves so rapidly it looks like a completely different species in a week?
It’s organic so can be spawned
Here’s the real question - elementals
there have been scientific discussions of theoretical dust-based life forms as well, or star ‘cosmic rod and string’ life forms, so I’ll throw those into this question too. Advanced robots as well.
Just cus they are life forms, they just aren’t life forms like us
Edit: so can we summon them?
I guess you can, just please don’t use that to summon stars or smth
Sorry for the delay
Name: known as “Penrose”
Age: 20
Zone: 1
Location: Near-abandoned town somewhere in the “Deep Spain”
Character
Like every autistic 4 year old, Penrose had to make The Choice: Dinosaurs, Trucks, Trains or Space; and following the fourth path he fed his insatiable curiosity with every branch of science, granting him a basic level of knowledge in nearly every field, however he mainly developed his understanding of genetic engineering as he saw it as a pathway to other abilities.
With gene tailoring still too underdeveloped to create his own organisms, he mainly makes a living by tweaking the local crops to be more resistant in exchange for a fee.
He generally stays by himself, reading or perfecting his designs, but he’s taciturn albeit friendly to others if they choose to approach him.
Before I state my actions, what would happen if I chose the “spawn” location to be somewhere already occupied by another object?
edit:
Action 1: look up online that old plan to create bioluminescent trees to replace streetlights
Action 2: prepare a secure storage spot for my Lifenote, reinforcing an empty drawer with dry mud (my character’s not skilled enough for this material to be called clay), shielding it in case some future tinkering sets the room ablaze
My idea is that, in such case, the said object would remain inside the spawned organism, possibly dividing it in two or more.
So no replacing then?
yep, no replacing stuff with creatures.
question: are we allowed to make “clones” of people? As in making a copy of a person theoretically, if someone were to write say, “MatPat, in my room” inside the Lifenote would an exact copy of MatPat appear in their room?
only dead or non-existent beings.
so blanks from city of blank and a surgeon are our best bet for cloning people if we want a high success rate.
@aah31415 you may have to do some research for some of the creatures I’m going to summon, so I will provide images as well.
Here is ruffles:
They are obnoxiously fast, and can breathe under water.
Oh and they have the mark of communication so they can understand what you say but not speak themselves.

ZONE 2 TIME- 18:00
ZONE 3 TIME- 24:00
ZONE 4 TIME- 6:00
The strange notebooks have fallen in homes of people around the world, and the choosen ones seem to be doing their first actions with The Lifenotes…
THE CHOOSEN ONES (Players)
@willow - EMBER INANI (Zone 4, NYC)
Action 1: Watch “The Worm”
Action 2: Summon The Memetic Parasite from the video in Donald Trump’s Brain
RESULTS:
You use internet to watch “The Worm” video made by “don’t walk home alone after dark”, and after remembering it’s details, summon the parasite into Donald Trump’s brain. For now, it doesn’t take an effect, but it’s still developing…

@Centarian - JOSHUA (Zone 3, Sacramento City)
Action 1: Play Rainworld Downpour
Action 2: Summon Ruffles, in your living room
RESULTS:
You play “Rainworld: Downpour” and recall a character known as “Ruffles”. You memorize enough of it to use The Lifenote in order to summon it, in your home in the living room. As you go check if the slugcat has been really summoned, you sure enough see a cyan thing zooming through the room.

@TwilightWings21 - TERRANCE GREAVES (Zone 4, US East Coast)
Action 1: Memorize the organisms on the Chimarion Website
Action 2: Summon a juvenile Big Goober in a sinkhole/cave and try to tame it
RESULTS:
You use a certain internet forum to access a speculative evolution website, where you try to memorize as many organisms as possible. You decide to summon one, a Big Goober, in an enclosed area like a cave or a sinkhole. You remember location of one steep pit nearby, and decide to summon it here.
Upon the arrival, you see a strange, dinosaur-like creature in the said pit, around size of a human, with many horns around the neck and sharp teeth. You brought some food with you in order to tame the creature, however not only does it end up stealing all the food, it also makes a slight bite on your arm!
(-1 HP)
It is still unable to escape the pit, and so you hope to try taming it again soon…

Action 2: write “blahaj” in The Lifenote, summon location - North Sea
RESULTS:
You browse through a trans subreddit when you find a post about “blahaj”, a shark-like mascot, which makes you remember all details about it. Instantly, you use The Lifenote to summon one, far off in the North Sea.

Action 1: look up online that old plan to create bioluminescent trees to replace streetlights
Action 2: Make a blaze-proof place for The Lifenote
RESULTS:
With your knowledge on biology and use of internet, you look up the plans of replacing streetlights with bioluminescent trees. You’ve memorized enought of it to summon those trees.
With your plans being potentially dangerous to The Lifenote, you’ve decided to reinforce a drawer into being a fire-proof locker where the notebook can be shielded from fire.

THE THE NEXT NIGHT ROUND:
Zone 2 - Ember Inani, Terrance Greaves (cannot submit actions) NO ONE
Act 1: Calm down ruffles by using the notebook to summon Bubble fruit (Their cannon favorite food) and speaking to them
Act 2: Write "Five pebbles and Looks To The Moon, Off of the coast of New York, near the statue of liberty.
For reference, Five Pebbles and Looks To The Moon are iterators, biomechanical constructs that tower above the clouds and require copious amounts of water to cool their systems. For a vague sense of scale, here is the side of five pebbles can with all of the in game levels stitched together:
And here is what a basic iterator structure looks like:

and here is how Five Pebbles and Looks To The Moon are positioned relative to one another (the white are there cans):
So it is safe to say there may be an emergency broadcast once I do this but that’s fine.
Oh also they are big enough that the people that built them also built their cities on top of them.
I may also be summoning a few more purposed organisms in the future.
Action 1: get in touch with the mayor of Alfarer de la Serra (random name I came up for my town, translates to potter of the mountains), and offer them a deal, replacing their streetlights in exchange for a small fee being sent to my account periodically, skimmed off the money saved from electricity bills
Action 2: using a vpn to conceal my identity and location, look up “lifenote” to see if there’s anyone who has or has had a lifenote
Action 1: ask my mom about the location of my dead childhood pet cat O’Malley III
Action 2: go to the location and the cat’s name in the Lifenote
now that I think of it, when we “respawn” something dead, how much does the Lifenote regenerate it?
it is respawned in the state just before death, but healthy.
