What superpower would you have if you could choose?
I would personally choose the manipulation of luck. If one of your friends is dying you can always set the odds of your friendās survival at 100%. Plus you could also use it to win in literally any fight you go to, and you could get super rich too by just picking up a lottery ticket and setting your win chance to 100%! And no one will notice! Itās like having plot armor in real life.
would that mean that, by setting your luck to 100%, you could make thunder appear from your hands?
I would choose the creation of portals, mainly because portals, but also because itās not too op

That is a good choice, utilizing portals can prove to be very useful for everyday life. Itās not as convenient as luck manipulation but itās cooler.
Another choice I would have is the power of teleportation. Itās a quick and easy way to travel between spaces, and plus I can escape from prison if someone manages to hold me hostage. Granted that I survive of course.

I disagree, thatās one of the few non-fluff posts in this thread over the past week. Itās very important to announce when you reach spacefaring, and Iām definitely not saying this just because I think I did thr same thing.

Slowing and speeding up time. I could always bring it to the extremes and essentially stop time/time trAvel.

The need to speed it up and slow it down is all you need. You could slow time down to essentially stopped, and speed it up so fast you are essentially time traveling. Thing is you couldnāt go backwards in time.
thats why i always choose ways to have a single power but keep it broad enough so i can have pretty much all the things such a power would have to offer.
for example iād rather take control over fire than breathing fire for obvious reasons. and the control over fire is technically a single power too
