hey, i’m going to try my hand in creating a forum game (again…), it is going to bee a civ building game set in a fantasy world.
there will only be 8 positions available for players, and the game can only start once all 8 are filled, adn they will each be a different fantasy race with their own pros and cons.
on the civilized side there are humans, who are kind of the base civ and don’t have any bonuses or negatives, there are the dwarves, who focus primarily on defense and sturdy armies (but they aren’t very good with magic or innovation), there are the elves, who focus primarily on magic and the natural order of things (but they aren’t very good with dealing with anything outside of their natural evirement (which i will explain later) and they aren’t good at innovating technologically), and there are the gnomes, who focus on technological innovation (but no one really likes them because they’re greedy).
then for the monster side there are the goblins, who focus primarily on high population and drowning their enemies in bodies (but are bad in almost anything else and everything hates them), there are the militaristic hobgoblins who focus primarily on military power and might (but their citizens tend to not really like the methods that the government uses, leaving them usually putting down revolts), there are the ogres, who are big and strong… that’s about it (but they need a lot of food and their pretty dumb, which hampers discovering anything outside of food related topics), and then there are the Kobolds, who are highly industrious (but no one likes them because they’re also greedy).
there are several subraces that can be chosen which each have specific benefits and non-benefits, for example elves have high elves, forest elves, desert elves and dark elves, and once a subrace is chosen the other choices can never be introduced into the world (unless the game starts over due to some extinction event that wipes out everyone).

I’m trying to try Dark Injection for Spore. but I keep getting these errors related to them.
Can anyone with lots more experience tell me what they mean and give any info on how I can fix this?
I AM BUZY AND HAVEN’T WATCHED THE TRAILER, I AM TRYING TO AVOID SPOILERS UNTIL I CAN PLAY TO SEE THE NEW COLONIES AAAAHAHHHAHHHH (i’ll also get to make a new review of the version)
also to anyone who wants to join my game they should start thinking about who they want their leaders to be.
remember, they should be far stronger than average members of their race but also confined to their limitations, and they should generally reflect the aspects of the race.
I’m currently writing the prologue round, and it should be done in a few days, it will give you all more information about which races and subraces you can chose.
also I’m going to notify all of you (all of you being anyone who liked my original post), and you are going to have to hurry to get the race that you want.

Are you using the Steam version of Spore? I heard ModAPI doesn’t work well with it, but I used the Origin launcher version by generating a Steam key and it worked well, maybe that’ll help?
Did you use the SporeModAPI to install, if you did follow the instructions below:
Goto Davoonline.com and goto spore mods → Dark Injections then post the error message (the images) on the Bug Reports section

Could we add instructions on how to write formulæ in posts to the FAQ? I forgot how to do it, and I imagine it might happen to others. That would make it easier to look it up again.

Yes, the point of this game is to be much more realistic. I think that most people were disappointed by the cutesy graphics of spore, I know I was. I can assure you, that if the thrive devs started to make the game too cute/cartoony, they would face heavy backlash from the community.
Yea, the game is looking very good too, I just gave a rebuddle to someone about getting alluminum to make the thermite discussed earlier. (In the underwater civ take 3).
