Not really the right place to mention in system requirements testing. I donโt remember us having a thread for any general devbuild bugs, so I moved these here.
I canโt get this problem to happen, playing the latest master branch version (which has a couple of PRs more than the latest devbuild):
Can produce glucose just fine:
No, if you just did translations through Weblate you donโt have to sign the CLA, as you already agreed to MIT-0 licensing your work. And thatโs good enough. I used a tool that couldnโt differentiate between people whose code had been removed from the game by later changes from people who only contributed to translation files. So some people who didnโt really need to sign, got that email.
It doesnโt hurt to sign anyway.
No meme posting please, especially if you upload all the images to the forums, so now those will take up storage here.
Spoke too soon.
okay i wonโt do that again.
What you mean by thinned out jโs?

What?
A while ago, I put up the instructions for joining the revolutionary games association on our website. And so far no one who isnโt on the dev team has joined. Is there a reason why you guys donโt want to join? I think it would be better if we got more people who are very interested in Thrive joining.
my name is a mystery that i have not yet solved so i canโt join
Is there a reason why we should want to join?
Well having more people means that for example if someone wants to troll the project by getting their friend group to join and then vote on nonsensical stuff, they are less likely to succeed. So overall it makes sure that you get to vote on the important association decisions. And for me it gives me peace of mind if more really enthusiastic people about Thrive join.
Life, coding, politics, ect
what nonsensical stuff?
i donโt understand why nonsensical stuff would even be on the voting board if its obviously nonsensical.
Any agenda items can be requested (AFAIK) by the association members. So the trolls will be able to at least require a vote to happen. And then if they actually outnumber the people who donโt want to ruin Thrive, thatโs going to be really troublesome.
well if theyโre trolls then they probably donโt know how to code and donโt have access to the gameโs code, so even if they win it wouldnโt really matter.
Because itโs a legal contract that I donโt know the full ramifications of, and requires me to disclose my identity, whilst all I want to do is spectate and discuss the project.
yeah thatโs pretty much the same reason i donโt want to join.
as well as (i would imagine) pretty much everyone elseโs reason.
Thatโs fair.
With a CLA the association has rights to the source code (not full exclusive rights, but enough to make a steam release possible).
What Iโm trying to convey is that there is large impact on Thrive, if the association experiences a hostile take over. Which Iโm sure there are ways to fight, but simply by just having large enough member base I think the chance of it ever being possible goes drastically down.
