THE NEW Miscellaneous Talk That Doesn't Deserve A New Thread Thread Thread (Part 1)

Is it just me or 90% of the sci-fi books on the kindle store are called of things like
The [Saga, Quest, Ascension, or something like that] of the [Four-letter name] - book [one or two] of [NAME WITH UPPERCAPE] duology

Doesn’t matter if it sounds cool

Yes, absolutely. Thats why i dont use the kindle app on a kindle

The pokedollar sign and russias ruble symbol both look seriously similar! while i was making a comparison image i accidentaly called the ruble the pokedollar.
Rubledollar

Now I’m picturing Putin invading Ukraine with a gigamax pokemon army

Putin: Pickachu use electroshock
Game: It was super effective
Game: Tank has fainted

So apparently now I can make references with Markdown,[1] which is useful for more science-y[2] topics or, at least, replacing parenthesis.[3]

Hi! [1]

It doesn’t work.

Oh nevermind, it’s just the preview that’s faulty.

In other news, I just played through thrive until extinction in early multicell, and so I’m playing a herbivorous creature with about 15 cells, a mouth with a chitin skin, practically.
So I encounter this giant algae thing as nearly as wide as I am, it must had been spamming thykaloids since 2,400,000 years ago;
So I have the question “Can I eat something with multiple of my cells?” The answer was a hard no;
It engulfs me instead and skins my creature like a :belgium: ing banana peel, it didn’t have lysosomes, so it left the husk of my creature behind. (Should probably have made mouth parts, maybe next time.)
Anyways, 10/10, would get peeled again.

if its big enough doesnt it reserve for you to come back with the same name and everything
