THE NEW Miscellaneous Talk That Doesn't Deserve A New Thread Thread Thread (Part 2)

I finished re-doing my track “Technologies”, should I put it on YouTube or…?

You mean you have remastered an old Thrive Music Track?

Yes, though, a fan music track.

To be fair, there always will be people who will want this kind of feature, even if it doesn’t fit the flow of the game.

What do you call a time-travelling didgeridoo?

A didgeridid.

What about the didgeri-will-doo? Not all time travelers go into the past afterall.

You know how every country has agreed to not enforce territorial claims on Antarctica?
I feel like that’s about to change.

Largest reserve of oil ever found. Apparently (I haven’t looked into it much).

I have also heard that the antarctic treaty itself is not far from meeting it’s end date already…

I’m actually kind of excited. It’s been a while since major national borders have changed.
What can I say? I like Paradox Games.

Many countries already have claims on antarctica tho. Will we really see them, many of which are allies of each other, fight for resource-rich ice desery?

Antarctica is already melting faster than before and now oil companies would wanna go there? No thanks.

Tomorrow is next month. Guess what could come out next month? THE DECKARD!

Why is the deckard so important for you?

Because it’s a portable wireless VR headset, of course! I haven’t enjoyed VR for so long because my Index overheats like hell. I’d rather not use it.

So what about it makes it so great?

Wireless headset and quite possibly standalone. Works on Steam. Made by Valve. It is rumored that the Deckard could have hot-swappable headstraps to add new functionalities in the future.

All of these things make it great.

Have you tried getting one of those frunk fans?

You’ve been talking about this item for months now…

Don’t you always say that the deckard could come out next month?

They’re too loud. It breaks the immersion. Also, the Index is quite heavy whereas the Deckard will probably be lighter.

@hhyyrylainen, what do you think about Nvidia going open-source for Linux drivers?

I never noticed it when I use it but that might just be me. It kind of just turns into white noise.
