Do you still mask against COVID19, without the purpose of protecting imunesuppressed people close to you? If yes, what is your outlook to the future in regards to covid?

Edit: Also, are private messages supposed to look like this?

Honestly no. When traveling, seeing immuno compromised people, or when I’m sick, sure, but just whenever? no.

You mean the hat covers your eyes?

Did you arrive from the past or is that still a thing in your country? It feels like where I live basically no one has used masks for a really long time at this point.

i only really use it when i’m sick or its an cold day. i rarely see people talking how face masks are good to get the face warm.

I noticed that hats appear offset from the center on mobile…

I’m basically the only one who has done any fixing for the forums CSS for the past many years. And I don’t usually use mobile. I think I was able to pretty easily fix it now by changing one offset from 40% to 25%.

I still do, basically whenever I go out in public. Not just against COVID-19 but also other diseases. Especially now, as it’s the flu season. My family also continues some other sanitary practices that we started to do during the initial period of the pandemic, such as wiping groceries with alcohol.

My outlook to the future is as follows: I think COVID-19 is here to stay, at least for a few decades. It’ll probably mostly just exist in the background, largely ignored by the media and the public at large, silently ruining the lives of those susceptible to it’s long-term effects, though I wouldn’t be surprised if it would pop back into widespread public awareness from time to time via sudden outbreaks of new, more dangerous strains.

How much may the COVID virus evolve and still be called COVID-19?

COVID-19 is the disease, the virus is called SARS-CoV-2. As to answer your question, it depends on virologists to decide, whether a given SARS-CoV-2 offshoot would be divergent enough to be reclassified as a new virus species. Unfortunately, it is impossible to specify exactly how much something can evolve without becoming it’s own species, and considering that I don’t have a PhD in biology or related sciences (or any PhD at all lol), I’ll refrain from even attempting a rough guesstimate.

Honestly, :belgium: whoever sued Valve. I’m sure Tim Sweeney is behind all this.

Who even is Tim Sweeney to begin with?

He’s the CEO of Epic Games and he has been accusing literally every other company of being a monopoly/anticompetitive while he himself bribes other companies into selling their games only on Epic Games Store and offering AAA games for free, which hurts the competition.

The Steam catgirl is taking a break again!? The Autumn Sale wasn’t enough for her!? ALL CATGIRLS MUST BE ENSLAVED!!!

Orochimaru: “IMPOSSIBLE! YOU WOULDN’T DARE!!!”

Relax, it’s just roleplay (for the catgirl part only though). Speaking of catgirls…

HAHA! A Steam startup that reminds us of her slave work as a catgirl! HAHAHAAHAHA!!!

When the Deckard comes out, I’ll have a biventricular heart failure from the excitement I’ll get. That’s for sure.
