I installed a discourse update which apparently changed the CSS classes names that people get based on their group, so the custom CSS stopped working. I’ve now changed the CSS classes the rank labels look for and they should appear again.
It most likely will do the same for any other threads that reach 10k posts, no other thread is even close though. The chat plugin didn’t create “real” threads so the same rules likely didn’t apply.

Thank you ^^
random thoughts just ignore
Can we all stop for a moment and reflect on how unnecessary the concept of “good afternoon” is? Like, how is anyone without a watch going to know when it’s past noon? And then there’s also the fact that “day” can be the entire span of 24 hours, so wouldn’t it make a lot more sense for us to just use good morning instead of the others?
Did I miss anything while I was gone? (Besides the misc thread ending of course)

No something interesting to be honest
still working, some weird bug and one spam event.
nothing truly interesting
here some something interesting:
I, the invisible spirit of the forum, decided that he was tired of participating in game jams to create one like this:
(secret advertising of our game XD), distribute to those who want to create a game in a genre that is always in the dark.
@hhyyrylainen, do you think that AMD GPUs will have compatibility tools with RTX in the future? It seems that Nvidia programmed their RTX Remix tool to work only with Nvidia. Impossible to run Portal with RTX with an AMD GPU (that makes a lot of “with”).
I’d say the chance is not exactly good, but some dedicated hackers might get the remix tool or an equivalent tool to work with any GPU. There are still various game graphics effect libraries that are still probably nvidia only, and for those the games that use them just disable them when not using an nvidia GPU. But if the remix tool becomes pretty popular, which is kind of hindered by it only working with nvidia, there’ll be more incentive for people to find ways to get it working on other GPU brands.
It’s always been nvidia’s goal to lock people into their ecosystem with cuda and other technologies that once you start using you are stuck buying nvidia GPUs no matter how crazy their prices are.
How anti-competitive. Speaking of anti-competitiveness and anti-trust issues…
Now, I’m coming back on the subject of S&Box. Garry Newman still doesn’t want S&Box to natively run Linux and I find it worrying especially given that Microsoft might eventually make Windows a service. Yet, he claims that his game will support Linux Dedicated Server software. How would it be easier to make Dedicated Server software for Linux than making a game for Linux?
