Due to being Flat, would this mean Rain World itself is an artificial constructed world?

Pretty sure there are better shapes than a disc for an artificial habitat

Maybe whoever constructed Rain World (in-game) liked the concept of a Flat Land?

It might be a naturally occurring structure considering the fact the sky is called β€œthe firmament”…

If it’s β€œnatural” then something supernatural must’ve been involved in it’s creation

This is our main understanding of the world of Rain World.

It could be an artificial structure considering there are normal planets in the distance.

Would aliens then exist in Rain World universe?

I mean it’s sort of hard to believe all of those ancients would have just died, I’d expect at least some to have persisted as shootoff civs

The entirety of Rain World (game) centers around a single local area, so it’s very unlikely the ancients all ascended or died.

Depends, if the other planets are indeed their own worlds and not apart of the firmament then maybe.

Is the firmament at the outer rim like a wall you can’t pass through?

Pretty much, in ancient mythology the firmament is quite literally the end of the entire universe (Earth). Obviously this line of thinking stopped after we got better telescopes and heliocentrism took place.

Do we know if the void sea is also sealed away from the rest of the cosmos beyond the firmament?

It’s implied that the void sea is within the firmament but we don’t really know too much about the world outside of that.

Does each next installment explain a bit more?

Not sure.. Now, back to the biology of Rain World.

There’s also giant carnivorous moths, which further complicates things over where and when all this actually takes place.

Do we know how large a slugcat is?

Anywhere from 3 feet tall to the size of a hominid.

How large is the moth thing in relation to a slugcat?

I think 2-4 times its height? Not sure.

There’s also β€˜sky whales’ as they’re called. They have whiskers and mammalian skin and have eight limbs on each side which complicates things.

Yeah these seems like the product of a bioengineering campaign of some sort
