Ok I think I know about the gameā€™s mechanics now I just have to make a name for my leader and my tribe and set the location

And thereā€™s stability and technology too

I think youā€™re gonna split from a civ

Ok, sounds like a plan

I think Iā€™m gonna split off of Bananarama

if you do not immediately swear to be my ally then i will destroy you.

Ok I think the age of secret actions is very near

Ok I will be your ally

I will call my civ Hollow Sands

Yes, you can join by splitting from another nation, which youā€™ve done.

You just need to name your leader, your nation and your village.

My village is called Hollow Sands

My leaderā€™s name is called BizarrePumpkin

Also since I split off from bananarama I think I live in Egypt?

Questions & Comments

  1. Was it necessary to split from another village?
  2. Is the leader part of the population?

Division of labour

Iā€™m establishing a set of rules for my job assignments. First off, here are my predetermined jobs to be:
  • Metalworker: Job that helps in working metals to create new objects. smeltal meltal in hydrothermal vents!
  • Fisherman: Watery job that catches the fish. Fishy nichy! Nichy nichy kong! Hongy Hong Kong
  • Farmer: Good fellow who helps in growing various crops as well as animal husbandry!
  • Hunter: He or she is the one who hunts down dangerous animals to harvest them.
  • Philosopher: Job that helps in discovering new technologies or science.
  • Prostitute: Inappropriate job that increases population with or without love.
  • Soldier: Impressive fellow recognized for his combat skills and who has to protect his people.
  • Knight: Soldier who achieved a higher honorific rank for his heroic actions. This job has a bonus for combat and politics.
  • Trader: Job that helps in getting a big share of the market!
  • Handyman: Big fellow who is good at building houses and other various things.

Hereā€™s the math:
x : population [68]
y : number of individuals in a group [7]
z : number of groups [9]

  • Metalworkers = y [7]
  • Fishermen = y [7]
  • Farmers = y [7]

  • Prostitutes = y [7]

It was between splitting from a nation or building a new one from scratch, but since TeaKing suggested splitting, I just went along with it.

No, the leader is not part of your population.

I am in Egypt, near the Nile river

Also i think i can post my actions now

Action one: order ten of my people to make farms

Action two: order the rest of my people to research metals

(i think thatā€™s how it goes right?

I think you begin posting actions next round

I was actually thinking of setting up your stats next turn and then you can post your actions, that way you know what you can do and what you need. How does that sound?

That sounds good, so ill wait until the next round

Alternatively, instead of splitting off of Zen, you could also take over one of the npc civs.
