bees and ants sting you the same way, ant bites are only called bites cause ants bite you before they sting you, so anteaters would be resistant to bee stings as well

Ants bite to anchor themselves before stinging right?
Arenโt bees able to stop themselves midsting, and unscrew themselves before the stinger becomes imbedded? There was a video of it somewhere on the internet.

That way they could survive stinging humans. Donโt know if itโs something actually used by the bees though as I recall they are said to pretty much never survive stinging humans.
Yeah I heard that wasp stings donโt last as long despite hurting more because they just slip out

I wonder if, had they not been on the course to go extinct and wouldnโt be domesticated, would bees evolve to remove the barb structure on their stinger?
