I even waited a nearly a week for activity from @TeaKing, @GodOfKnowledge and @Iron_uksus but alas no activity. Im pinging them again, and if they do want to catch up their vote they can. If they dont return by end of round 9 ill take over 1 of the civs as an ai civ and kill the other 2. Anyways this round was pretty lucky for some, and less so for others. You need writing/reading, education, mathematics and scientific method to research more complex things, which is what I did. That should open up a lot more opportunities in the future.

(I got education automatically due to a lack of language and so a necessity to educate the populace of the written language, hence why I was able to get those things without voting for education)
