In 3 April 1974, Cosmonaut and comrade Vladimir Komarov reported via radio to the [REDACTED] cosmodrome that he began to feel nausea and dizziness during an extravehicular activity in the crater of [illegible] localized at the lunar south pole. Following these symptoms, he was directed to return to his LK lander while providing continuous updates on his condition.

6h31m - I don’t know how to expwain what’s happening to me. I just glawced at the window and I knew sowething was wrong with my refwection. I analyzed it calmly and notiwed that my ears are in a position and anatomy siwilar to that of a dowestic cat. I’m already past the initial shock and will begin my ascent to orbit in a few moments.
Komarov successfully docked with the orbital module an hour later. At this point, suspicion arose that Comrade Komarov was experiencing an unknown condition. Cosmonaut Tereshkova was instructed to maintain distance and close the visor on her helmet.
She later reported that Komarov was displaying grunts that reminded her of a “meow”.
- POST RETURN EXAMS RESULTS
Both cosmonauts were placed in isolation for two months after returning to Earth.
They underwent a series of medical tests that returned promising results to understand the events during Comrade Komarov’s EVA.
3a. KOMAROV
Their tongue had become drier and rougher, similar to members of the Felinidae family. Komarov’s coccyx began to develop into a full tail, at the current time it is about half a meter of lenght. Komarov demonstrated increased sensitivity to loud sounds and the ability to move his ears independently. Blood analysis revealed nothing new. Tereshkova did not display the same symptoms as Komarov, but suffered from the same dyslexia that Komarov acquired and the growth of a tail. It was also reported that an unknown red liquid was being released from his sweat pores. In-depth analysis required.
- HYPOTHESIS AND CONCLUSION
Some professionals involved in the investigation proposed that the condition acquired by both is the result of greater exposure to radiation in the region, which activated sections of Komarov’s DNA that caused his condition, however this does not explain how it spreaded via verbal communication between the medics involved.
An alternative hypothesis suggests that the anomalous health conditions may be the result of a biological weapon developed by the Americans, with the purpose of sabotaging the Zarya program. A future analysis of the interior of Komarov’s Krechet suit will be carried out in order to prove the hypothesis.
Investigations are being moved to [REDACTED], Oblast, to prevent the start of a widespread epidemic. Komarov and Tereshkova will be kept in quarantine indefinitely to prevent further transmission and to facilitate in-depth examination of their conditions.
