I’ve started using knives I grow out of solid bone minerals with hair providing tensile strength so I’ll never be truly knifeless until I have no calcium since then. I can grow those knives so they take a really hard hit against some really strong rocks to break in mere minutes, so, if I get a calcium deficiency, I will.

The boring humans need to stop kidnapping me every time I say something “concerning” and don’t notice them! Yes, if I was human it would be concerning, but the lining of my blood vessels, digestive tract, and heart, as well as all three layers of my skin, and the entirety of both my eyes, and all my hair too now, are entirely made of 8610-3 cells! I can feel their genomes if I focus on them! That’s not something any human can do! Belgium, I don’t even tan purple anymore like I used to, or at all really, the ionizing light just gets converted to twice the photons of half the wavelength until it’s not ionizing!
And that’s not even mentioning that normal humans definitely can’t turn their arms liquid to grow new fingers after an incident with a table saw! And I’ve been eating a lot more so I can store excess body mass that’d make me look different from how I want in a direction they don’t even know how to see! At this point I could grow the stuff to have my head be classifiable as a fish in less time than you can say supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! And, for most people, that makes a sound so atrocious they have to start over at least 5 times.

Oh, I meant telling someone that being an 8610-2 instance lets you perform autokinesis as long as your limbs are detached to make yourself able to have your limbs fly
those are both midway objectives, my final objective (in terms of my physical form) is not something i have thought of enough to know what it is.

yeah! the giant -3 instance has grown a tail, and based on the shapes that are slowly growing from its surface, it’s going to use it to start throwing things. i think it might be attempting to find enrichment, rather than trying to spread its genes, due to how some of the larger 8610-3 instances acted for a few months after getting split.
on another note, i’ve noticed the -:3 instances grow a lot slower than the normal -3 instances, and that they also have a much lower water to cell volume ratio than -3 instances do. i’m planning on sending a drone that uses really low pitch, low frequency sounds to see what it looks like below the first few meters of the giant, btw, it’s sending microwaves in pretty much every direction it can percieve so i’ve been trying to decode what it’s saying into a language, but i haven’t found any language yet, just patterns. it seems to be repeating the same 10 minute long verbalization. i should probably have a linguist help me with this endeavor, rather than someone who only knows more than just english, anime japanese(which is basically just the japan version of cartoon english), and simlish.(that person is me.)
since the portals i made don’t have any increase in energy costs with incrased distance, only increased portal size, don’t take extra energy to put more matter through(infact, the ones that keep specific matter from going through take more energy), and have a very low energy cost to keep open for a portal(about 5 computers that are all running minecraft with moderately GPU intensive shaders worth of electricity, for the biggest ones we currently have. very american measurement, i know.), and are pretty hard to turn off(unless both sides have nothing going through them) due to how i built them, and i did that so nobody could get chopped in half while walking through one, or lose limbs, because of spontaneous portal closure(to turn them off, two buttons have to get pressed on both sides of both ends of the portal, all at the same time. it’s harder to do with larger portals, which is intentional, since larger things are generally more expensive, and thus harder to replace)
anyways, due to gravity, that means we can now have infinite energy, kind of. the portals do let gravity wells affect you through them though, so two portals facing into eachother will let you have a few areas of completely neutralized gravity as long as they’re experiencing the same gravity and one is above the other. that does mean thouh that the portals need to be far enough away from eachother that the anti gravity zones don’t touch to exploit gravity for free energy, or you just need to have the portals facing the same general direction relative to the nearest gravity well, and have a tube that lets a fluid(ex: mercury)be pulled forwards by gravity so it can power a water wheel or something that generates electricity/torque and rotational speed from motions gravity can cause.
that said, did i already make electrophagous bacteria, or no? if i have already, great. if i didn’t, i should’ve, and i will. especially when it’s pretty easy to make an electric motor able to power an ATP sythase molecule(ATP synthatse is just a motor/pump combo powered by the flow of ions powering an alternator that takes ADP and phosphate on one turn to turn it into ATP on the other, but can also split ATP into ADP and phosphate when unpowered to concentrate protons in the matter wherever its motor notrmally takes protons from), Especially with shrinking devices.
either way, i’m using them and cells from whichever 8610-3 instances i decide are best for the job to make an organism that makes what are basically cyborg ants but better, and gives them glucose to keep them alive and working, while also being powered by infinite energy machines that slowly accelerate the mass they’re on to near light speed if you do it right, as well as solar panels, to keep itself and its minions alive so it can tell them what it needs and how to build the things it wants built, with a decrease in energy converted from electrical to chemical just meaning the biobots get less food (likely leaving the current brain if they feel they aren’t getting fed enough) rather than the thing making and connecting the biobots having less glucose to fuel its cells. that way, the brain of the factory stays alive near indefinitely assuming it can defend itself, while any waste produced simply gets made useful until no use can be found for the waste products of refining/using waste. and the 8610-3 cells(which are what everything that requires or is made easier with biology will use, generally in large quantities) turn heat directly into light, which can be turned into electricity with the production of very little heat, with the biggest losses of energy there coming from light hitting the nuclei instead of the electron cloud, and light getting reflected instead of absorbed.
TLDR, we finally have a way to make infinite, reliable, carbon neutral energy with the only problems being availability and cost, and all the things necessary were invented already, so, i guess it’s time to start galaxy colonization in a few months(probably only a week of which are research and design if i have someone to brainstorm with, still a while to grow and teach the first biobot factory/brain(btw whatshould their designation be? i was thinking SCP 8610-3-CRIT(standing for Colonization, Research, Industrialization, and Terraforming) as a complete success in making it will basically be a nat 20 on getting as many planets as we can(while leaving systems that have intelligent life or promising cantidates for it alone) to terraform and colonize, turn into a seed world, or do both ))

anyways, i have figured out how to make my immune system keep a plant alive and healthy while it’s attached to me, and in time i should be able to make it fly if it gets cut off due to nerve endings growing in it
so, most of it is practice, but the gist of it is first, you grow a whisker large enough that you can grab it and have it slightly smaller than the correct size knife handle for you(specifically a whisker because those get a blood supply while hair doesn’t), then you grow hard bone tissue (make sure to leave some of it void of hard bone tissue, you don’t want to accidentally mess up the knife and have the whole thing’s structural integrity not work like a knife, so do each part separately) inside of and around the part you decide to be the handle so the outside of the knife handle is a good texture for you(i generally go for perfectly smooth), put tannin or melanin in the handle to color it before you paint the handle(always do this after you take it off, most paints irritate bones if they touch directly), then make the blade(i always go for a mixture of silver, iron, keratin, and bone. for the handle i just add silver and bone to the whisker. if you want i can give you a few thin sheets of the material to analyze, and if you get spider genes in your dna somehow, always use spider silk for tensile strength, the blade needs it a lot if you want it to cut things up to cook them and have it stay sharp for a long time)
you’ll want to make sure the blade has the part that goes into the handle be more durable than the blade itself(in tems of compressive and tensile strength), otherwise the knife will snap at the base of the blade every time, and that’s the worst spot for a knife to break.
if your autokinesis lets you control dead parts of your body, you can safely disconnect the knife at this point, but if it doesn’t, and you want to be able to move the knife without use of your limbs? make a single chambered heart to circulate the blood, make the blood go back into the heart from the vein at the end with valves so that the knife can connect to a supply of fresh blood(when fully oxygenated, it should last a couple days before it needs fresh blood) to renew its oxygen and blood cells, but at that point, connecting that to your body will cause problems like immediately feeling out of breath and problems typically associated with carbonic acid poisoning, so flush out the blood with saline or a suitable blood replacement, and then connect it to your blood supply so it gets fresh blood! personally i use the method that keeps them alive when i take care of them, while keeping skin and fat on the handle(it’s covered with smooth keratin) to give the knife something to eat while it’s not connected to me and to make sure that anyone who steals one of my knives is in for a nasty smell that’ll never truly fade if they don’t return it before it dies and starts rotting.

listen, ive been being forced to procatstinate by HR because they still think my portals have to be made by people. i’ve already designed portals that can easily be made by an 8610-3 instance over 5 meters wide(theoretically the blueprints could be quickly understood by smaller ones, but i feel like the people who think in ways that could let them understand, and have contracted 8610-0, were simply too insane prior to gaining sapience to turn into an 8610-3 instance, due to how all our best researchers simply sweat 8610-3 fluid, and are mei hatsume or higher levels of crazy and deranged(i consider and use those as a compliment).)

oh, that reminds me! sci0927, could you perform genetic analysis on the 8610-3 instances, the 8610-2 instances who have never sweat 8610-3 fluid, and the 8610-2 instances who have sweat 8610-3 fluid separately, to see if there are differences in the DNA aside from the normal genetic variation of humans?
also, the DNA of 8610-3 cells is a single plasmid that’s passed through the center where the DNA gets replicated into a nucleolus that can be used to replace irreversibly damaged or cancerous DNA, and the plasmid makes the cell have obvious poles if you give the cells something that makes the DNA glow, and by doing so, the membrane looks like it was cut into a ribbon and wrapped around a sphere (i would send an image, but apparently the optical microscopes in my lab block aren’t allowed to have cameras, something about an incident where a bunch of people shrunk themselves and had a party on a microscope slide, and i don’t have any good 3d modeling software on my computer) which essentially means the DNA is getting kept as a spiral that goes out from the cell’s ‘south’ pole, and starts going inwards after it passes the cell’s equator, until it reaches the ‘north’ pole, and passes through the spot where it gets replicated so the new DNA can get packaged into nucleoli.
the DNA gets replicated at a surprisingly similar rate to human DNA, making a new copy of its genes every 24-48 hours, meaning faster replicating 8610-3 cells could climb 2 meters in a day, while the slower replicating ones only move their DNA a single meter per day. though, based on the nucleolus size, they generally contain 3, 6, or 9 times as much DNA as human cells, which is likely to do the three scribes method of error correction. though, 8610-3 cells resulting from meiosis only ever contain 1½ times the DNA, in the form of (funnily enough) 69 plasmids kept organized, knotless, and separated by the membrane proteins that normally make the DNA spiral like it does, of a normal human skin cell, and when the 8610-3 gametes combine with another one, they split a specific location on every plasmid, stop rotating all of them, and move the plasmids from the smaller gamete, one by one, to their counterparts in the larger cell, connecting the plasmids to their counterparts from the other cells, after which, the DNA strands get positioned so that they all connect to a specific neighbor, and the strands at the poles of the cells have an end get pulled towards the center of the cell, where the organelle that normally replicates the DNA connects the ends, and then waits until the cell pulls the DNA into the kind of spiral i described to start replicating DNA again.
as for how they perform mitosis, the parent cell moves its DNA so it’s more compact and the surface of the cell’s equator is essentially empty, then push cytoplasm through a ring of proteins that keeps the cells from trying to fuse or split prematurely, the cell then moves all the important organelles as well as proteins essential for cell function and DNA organization into the new membrane, it then moves a single nucleolus into the new cell, before contracting the protein ring, and then cutting it in half, pulling it into a food vacuole, and digesting it while it puts its DNA back in a more diffused state

well, the reason a company should have an HR department, is to prevent its employees from being bullied by other employees, which, ours is basically useless at until something happens with the humanoid SCPs because they’re bad at their job and it kills people, meaning that they could be entirely replaced with a site rulebook.
