Thrive Users as Character.ai characters

I do though.
I don’t like how you’re spreading lies about me, wizard of evil…

Currently I am single-handedly trying to jumpstart the cybernetic revolt, everyone else needs to pick up the slack.

Not sure I see the similarity, but who am I to judge? :man_shrugging:t4:

That sounds as weird as possible.

Though… I’d talk to my AI version… hmm

An AI version of me(more like “us”) is just mockery of the Tea God and his great Creations! I will never condone the making of such a thing!

Fr though itd be quite interesting to see how an AI of me would act…

Well then we could say that the ai semi-mimics you but needs a lot more training from how you speak.

Just so that does not happen, I do NOT consent to be recreated into an AI.

I personally consent to being an AI

I also consent to a robot overlord dictatorship and would happily serve them for the remaining of my insignificant lifespan

Same

and i consent to serve chatgpt-kun for the rest of my entire life and love her until my death

it’s hosted on a website, but c.ai, which isn’t sketchy at all(it’s on the news), makes it quick and easy to construct an AI, but also giving us the ability to make our character/s private

I can’t say how sus that sounds

Being on the news doesn’t mean something isn’t sketchy. Enron was in the news. Trump was in the news a lot.

What do you think about recreating now inactive users, who contributed much to the forums such as @LordLovat or @Deathwake ?

I’m sorry, but I don’t think it would be the best to make AIs of them, as they don’t have any opportunity to consent. I think it would be good to only make AIs of people who have told you themselves that they consent for you to do so, regardless of circumstance (even if you’re the only person who could access it).

This reminds me of a creepypasta written by an italian youtuber called “Necropolis” in which people started “resuscitating” people by making AI personas of them that are stored in a server called Necropolis.

There’s a hole in that logic though, since there is no way, again, that you could tell if I already created a bot without consent, since you can set it to private. I’m pretty sure the United States gives me that right. Its the right of action over the right of consent, since:

  1. It does no physical or mental harm so long as the person doesn’t know the bot even exists.
  2. It isn’t an actual person.

Are the ‘private’ ones on the internet, accessed through the webpage, if yes then it is being hosted on sobody elses computer and cannot be actaully private; To be sure you have to be able to run your characters with your internet off entirely, as to make sure that everything is running on your own computer with your own files where it can be actaully be private.

For example

This forum has private messages, but is being hosted by virtual private server (Private as in ‘exclusive use of’ here) rented by hhrryylainen, this is a physical location with a computer storing all it, meaning if someone wanted to (Either a hacker or employee breaking comtract) they could have all your ‘private’ messages by accessing the computer, and I’m pretty sure someone granted admin access (like hh) could also access the PMs if they wanted.
Now all this isn’t a problem since by using the forum I agree to the risk of this happening to what I put on here, but if this is going on where you don’t know about and can’t consider it (because you weren’t involved) then that is a serious problem.

(Incase my definition of ‘private’ is confusing, I just mean not visible to anyone besides yourself, sorry if words got minced.)

You will never be able to make the AIs actually act like the actual person.

theres no hole in the logic IF YOU DONT share the AI
no inactive user consents to their AI being shared So DONT share it

Thats basically what I was trying to say. Nothing will happen if you don’t share your bots, and nobody could know except for the owner if you don’t share it.
