How many players could you handle at the max?

Probably 14 of them.

Yeah I donโ€™t think weโ€™d get this many in

I will go with Liberia and try to make it have a better history.

I might try going with the senussi lol

I might join as Russia. They had a decent navy for 1880 and even wanted to use Madagascar as a trading port. Of course, I will take more, but thereโ€™s some precedent for Russia joining the scramble for Africa.

I think it might be nerfed due to the sheer distance

Yeah, but it seems nobody is joining in as a colonizer yet, so Iโ€™ll probably be fine.

The other colonizers will be still acting as NPCs btw

I want to join the game! Not sure which nation I want, though.

Which African nations are associated with the British Empire?

@Animalia

I think Iโ€™ll choose Warsangali. Can I give a custom name to my leader like โ€œJohnny Somaliโ€? Also, apart from Warsangali and Majerteen, are there any other Somali tribes that I should be aware of? What are their relationship?

Also, where is Warsangali located within Somalia? Is it near the sea?

Why would Somali live nearly 150 years in the past?

Warsangali is the purple strip in northern Somalia/Somaliland.

Cape Colony

It has to be on the list I provided (unless youโ€™re choosing a European power.

Geledi is the light blue one. The Somali Sultanates tend to have a fine relationship but if you want to unite the coast you might have to wage some wars.
