Weird/Funny dreams

Do you remember all of them once you wake up?

Do you wake up briefly after each of them?

I remembered them vaguely once I woke up.

After 2 or 3 dreams, I wake up to go to the bathroom and then I go back to sleep.

Better memory would be good. But if thoughts could be simulated, people wouldnโ€™t be valuable to the economy anymore. Companies would start hiring AIs. Some governments would start reducing the organic population. Distopia.

Ever tried to sleep just a few hours? Drink lots of water. Youโ€™d wake up at the middle of the night, needing to go to the bathroom. You can write down your dream and go back to sleep.

It would be possible to remember two dreams every day.

Hey thats what you said. Iโ€™m so sleepy. I donโ€™t remember anything I read.

Thatโ€™s not what I meant. What I meant was that if youโ€™d relive your memory/dream, you would have the same thoughts that you had when the memory or dream happened.

So like would you have a device connected to you which could both record and play dreams?

A while ago I had a rather strange dream. I'll write down what I can recall:

In the earliest portion of the dream, that I remember, me and my sister were going on a train somewhere (I think back home from a trip or something). The train was really unusual though. Each individual carriage was privately owned by a different group people, and all the carriages were also different hotels (this is probably one of the most weirdly-specifically-strange things that my sleeping brain has conjured). The carriage-hotel thingy in which me and my sister booked seats/a room had this very wooden, almost sauna-esque interior design. The floor and walls were covered with light, wooden panels, while the seats had a typical, modern design (with the exception, that they could be tilted backwards, akin to the front seats of a car). Each area with two or more seats, a window, a little table, etc. was designated as a hotel room and was separated from the rest of the carriage by a thick curtain. The carriage was lit up by an orange light. In the back of the carriage, there were three joint seats (like in a bus), they were occupied by the hotel-carriage owners and staff, who were all women and wore catholic nun outfits. Throughout the course of the dream, the scenery and plot often changed. At some points, the carriage would morph into a fairly accurate replica of a FlixBus bus[1]. Eventually, the carriage transitioned into an attic. I was lighting it up with a hand-held flashlight, looking for spiders. This part of the dream was rather monotonous, boring and repetitive, so Iโ€™m going to most of the details. In short, I spent quite a while observing various spiders, identifying one spider as a โ€œPajฤ…k albaล„skiโ€ (โ€œAlbanian Spiderโ€). Eventually, my sister joined me in the attic. At some moments she was upset with me, and at others she wasnโ€™t, but either way we were having multiple verbal exchanges that I canโ€™t recall specifically, but I think the gist of it was that I needed to come downstairs because I was needed for something. Later in the dream, I, some random people, and possibly my sister ended up transported into another world. There was a big creature that would kill and consume those who trespassed on its territory. I was killed and eaten on several occasions, each time respawning a bit before being noticed and killed, as if I was in a crappy horror game. However, after my last death and another initiation of the loop, the creature run up to me, as always, but instead of killing me, it left out a weird screech and communicated with me (I donโ€™t remember exactly how). It then drew a big, square-ish squiggle in mud, and I had some inherent awareness I had to follow it to escape this world and go back home. Then there were some disjointed cinematic scenes of much smaller versions of me and the other people running through the trail that the creature created for us, however, I have no idea what happened next, because the dream has lost any semblance of coherence past this point, and became a chaotic, unrememberable blur.

Edit: Oh jeez, I didnโ€™t realize I wrote so much lol. Gotta hide the details real quick.
Edit2: done.

  1. note: a while ago I went on a short trip to Germany with my sister. We rode a FlixBus bus, and thus I know how it looks like from the inside. Tbh this trip is probably what largely inspired the dream Iโ€™m describing here. โ†ฉ๏ธŽ

Why did you need to hide that? There are WAY longer dream descriptions in this thread.

I just didnโ€™t want to inconvenience people with what I consider to be a large wall of text

Last night, I dreamed that I was a kid who got abandoned by his parents at a gigantic mall. The mall was so gigantic that it could never be closed down. Not even during the night. I would survive by taking on small jobs to earn money and something caught my attention: factions had been formed inside the mall. There was even a praying mantis cult of women would catch men, reproduce with them and then eat them. It was completely insane. I kept getting money overtime, so that I could eventually get out and live outside the mall. When I think about it, perhaps the mall was so huge because it represented the amalgamation of my memories or my subconscious?

Maybe the mall was supposed to represent the world in a way?

I die in every dream.

In every dream ever? Or were there times where dying in every dream wasnโ€™t the norm?

Yeah there were also dreams where Iโ€™m publically shamed or where Iโ€™m forced to be half-awake during the whole night while repeateadly moving my every limb and repeating the same thoughts

Do you think those dreams perhapsโ€ฆ have a source originating from real experiences?

these are the secrets that I will take with me in my grave

As long as nobody knows after youโ€™ve diedโ€ฆ

The real mall is the friends we made along the way?

I think everyone has dreams about ordinary things extended to be too vast to escape, so you just have to live with it/there. Iโ€™ve had similar sorts of dreams.

I think I also got dreams of that kind at times too.
