… Dreams huh. This is cool. Let’s see what I’ve got…
So, I am a semi lucid vivid dreamer. Is fun. I keep a dream journal, use it for story ideas.
Cool dreams are awesome that way, especially when you can just… unfold your wings and fly whenever. Makes nightmares suck though.
I died. It was a car accident, and… well, I became a ghost, by rejecting my death. Was an organ donor, and my heart was used in a transplant. So… I kinda decided that as long an this girl was alive, I was alive. And proceeded to haunt my heart’s bookstore. Annnddddd may have scared the crap out of her when I made her exercise, walked up walls, used my claws to open packages, and had staring contests with the cat. Somehow was hired at the store (probably since I could reach the top shelf, the poor short person) and it just… was that? Had that dream continue for… four, five nights? Just… off and on, talking to a dad trying to get his son’s life back in order from beyond the grave, a bunch of random other supernatural shenanigans. Fun dream.
Let’s see… being my cat for a day, and wondering why the human just had to mess up my fur after I had just cleaned it.
Nightmare fuel. Enough said.
One I’m calling Children of a Dead God. A self replicating cartographer/researcher AI decides to experiment on the native, just barely sentient (definitely not sapient) creatures of a world. A fork attempts to do the same to humanity, and it goes… poorly, leading to the righteous crusade to kill off the unit that attempted to take them as subjects. They find the world, and bombard it to death. The integrated, and now awakening natives that the AI was uplifting/integrating truely come to life as they watch their god burn under orbital bombardment. The natives (They’re… uh… Insect wolves? Mandibles, fur covered, with razor sharp spikes hidden in the coat… I want to make these in thrive sooo badly) anyway, they take their first tottering steps in a ruined biosphere, raising their “children” the few remaining drones into functional individuals, and watching as their world slowly finishes falling to pieces. By the time they escape the planet, on ships repurposed from crashed human craft and whatever they could get their hands on, there are only about a few thousand bioforms left, and the implants mean they and the mechaforms have a constant, low level networked mind running constantly. The dream occurred from three perspectives, the caretaker unit A297 “Snow”, bioform “Of Soft Rainfall”, and Alan, who first interacts with the children.
My dreams are weird, okay. Cool, but odd.
I don’t even remember my dreams
I don’t even dream…
I should talk about the dream I had a while ago where I sort of visualized something really weird that probably is classed as impossible. The main thing of the dream was a fourth dimensional being grabbed me and used me as a play toy and then all of this weird 3d crap happened. I remember visualizing seeing volume, not as a 3d grid, but literally witnessing three dimensionality outside of just a 2d view. It is hard to explain what I saw, it was like seeing the full inside of things as well as all angles of things at the same time. The thing is that this same view seemed to be sort of like an outlining surface thing like perimeter and surface area, it was like a surace volume. I swear it was weird and trippy as , The being just put me down except on a 4th dimensional coordinate and so I couldn’t see my original plane of existence. It was one of those dreams that is so weird you never forget it. I also remember another dream where my mum was made at me, took a knife, hit me with the handle of the knife, and I turned into chicken and went into a third person point of view afterwards.
What the Germany???
Oh my . One time I dreamt I was battling a starcruiser and tasting with my feet. Fun.
One, cool dreams. Congratulations, welcome to what happens when you start taking abstract math and applying them. At least, I can’t be the only person who learned to do abstract maths and then had… interesting… dreams. Right?
Two… You are 4D. 3D spacial, and a 4th dimension in time. Have to be 5D to mess with time, or another spacial.
Good rule of thumb, for each dimension you are above, you can visualize and interact with. 4D people, 3D interaction, can’t do more than move through the 4th. Unless I have that wrong, it’s been a long time since I took that abstract mathematics course…
Oi. What did Deutschland ever do to you? Sheesh, was all Belgium
I swear…
Well, It was more four dimensional in the aspect of spacial dimensions, not really temporal. I could physically see the shape as if volume became more like the surface of a shape. I don’t think it would be like that if I counted time as a dimension. I think that would be more like imagining all instances of an object in all “positions” of time from it’s creation, to it’s infinite future, even if it just gets dispersed into space.
I understand now. I think. Maybe.
Sorry, I tend to visualize spacial into temporal, since all time is just a series of 3D objects strung together… but I kind of get it. Kinda like a klein bottle? Only, everything?
that wasnt a dream!
you were just in a different universe where hhyyrylainen got 15 clones
The famous universe traveling throught dreams
Well, there would be the more realistic option of directly connecting your brain to the computer and being able to code as fast as you are able to think.
And just remember, if hhyyrylainen was uploaded into a computer the computer version(s) could be easily cloned and/or speed up to the speed of light, and the original hhyyrylainen would still be in a human body so we’d have a normal human too, just for the technophobes.
I got a fever one day ago, and the dreams I was having were very weird. They were all pretty similar and seemed to all turn around manipulating elections.
I guess you could say you had a
fever dream
I’ll take my awards now
I’m confused. Is there a pun? It migh have been one.
