World Size and Seed Collection Thread

How rare is this?! A Broken Banana Biome seed on 0.9.2.0!

0.9.2.0-12-patch-BananaBiome-SmallTemperateMediumAveragAverageError: 520490481885800394

Also, it looks like this previously found Banana Biome seed in 0.9.1.0 is also broken in 0.9.2.0.

I can see why its broken.. That being said, I do wish we could have more extreme planets to play on.

Speaking of would anyone else be interested in testing some very long period worlds, as in hundreds of generations? I did 2 such autoevo simulations so far, one in 0.9.1 and the other in .2.

Could you post the results? I played for a while back in 0.8.3 as a multicellular organism and went multiple billions of years in with population numbers up to 700T, then the game crashed.

I will make a thread for this stuff in a bit

I wonder what the largest 1.0 seed is, i found a 51 patch one but i dont remember the seed for it (should still have the save though, if anyone is interested

That would be a task for @AnthropocenianAge if they still hold an interest in finding the most interesting seeds

Other people are also welcome to find and post interesting world seeds.

Actually shouldn’t the custom patchmap algorithm itself give us some idea on the hard limits of how many patches could a world have in the absolute best scenario?

i found two 57 patch maps, i’ve yet to see a 60 patch one but unless theres a hard limit on the amount it should be possible

How many tries did it take to get these two?

the top one was 3 clicks, very lucky, and the bottom one was 3 minutes

in hindsight, i should’ve used an autoclicker and screen recorder as that would’ve been faster

And then you’d go through the recording to see if anything came up?

I wonder just how many patches the finished planets will have considered we already have up to 60 just with the microbial-only biomes.

Probably a few hundred at most

The Auto-Evo times on those worlds, though…

The developers will probably try and make it as efficient as possible

cant have autoevolve lag if you make the planet inhospitable to all life

Well without life you cannot have a thing THRIVE

Do we how much world generation changes every time Godot is updated, or do drastic changes only occur when changing major versions of Godot?
