You control the forum

so there would be a boss or like large storm event and I would crawl out of the ocean?

Kinda? Basically what it means is there is more danger around but one of the benefits is that more players can join.

So it’s like a limited time where people can join, got it!

Wait so is @Nigel not playing anymore? He was in the chat but then left, and he joined but then wasn’t included in the rounds? Like there is a species list with him in it but his Civ isn’t listed within the rounds.

Yea he left and I was to lazy to get rid of his species so I think I’ll just use it as an NPC civ.

yo can i take control for a while
before he goes into extinction

I don’t think you would need to, as an NPC tribe would be good for me or Frale.

Though I do think you should be able to join, and I had an idea as to how.

Why is the Winter Solstice more important than the other solstice and equinoxes? As such, leading up to the Equinox what if we had three mini events, the Spring Equinox (next round), the Summer Solstice (3rd round summer, so in 5 rounds), and the Fall equinox (3rd round fall, so 9 rounds).

These wouldn’t be huge complicated or intricate events is the idea, but just little starter events that will boost certain stats for a round and allow new players to join.

For example, spring equinox could increase pop growth a little, summer solstice could increase new idea success a little, and fall equinox could increase structure and food productivity a bit.

nice, that would be good

Yeah, if you see this I’d like to know what you think Centarian.

I think they could just be seasonal buffs, instead of mini-events, the reason I’m marking the winter solstice as an event is because something unusual is going to happen around that time. Not because you will get certain buffs around that time.

Oh yeah cool

Why I was calling them ā€˜mini-events’ wasn’t because of the buffs but so that we could keep it consistent with the idea of people only joining at events

what if there was a civic sim where there was only one species and a pole for the next action, I saw one where there was a singular character but never an entire civ, as in like the ones we have in pandora horizon.

might make one
