Why does anything exist on the community forums?

This was before I joined the team, but I think the reason why is that the community has really bad ideas, and having to listen to and debate them all the time would sap too much happiness from the developers, which would reduce their enthusiasm for Thrive, ultimately causing them to just leave.

The reason was that having one large forum prevented the creation of a clear dividing line between community members and devs. This led to devs thinking they were being productive by wasting time on some speculation thread (‘I’m working on game design!), and community members thinking that posting a forum game once every three months made them a dev (part of the outreach team, thank me later!)

“I prefer world optimization.”
Have more advanced tech than anyone else by combining other nations’ (who are at war right now) tech you stole. Then, without using any violence, take over any and all nations you stole from, and make them become friends. Do this all in [normal time it takes to finish industrial stage/2] and then go to another soler system.

Looking at you LankyGiraffe.

Wait, what?: In society stage, have your nation being conquered by an smaller nation
I don’t think you understand the gravity of the situation: make a creature come out of the sea in a high-gravity world without that creature being prepared for it.
