Randomly determine it (probably 50%).

Admin! He is going sideways! - Finish Thrive by moving sideways and hopping sideways (where applicable).

By hopping sideways do you mean in macroscopic+ stages?

Engulf-ception - You can only engulf cells that have themselves engulfed chunks or other cells.

Yuck! - Manually eject engulfed items (a counterpart to the โ€œYum!โ€ achievement)

Oh right, thatโ€™s what I meant by it.

Glycostasis - finish the microbe stage without using glycolysis

Rules:

  1. You may only use glycolysis on your first generation as LUCA, after that you turn it off in the processes tab
  2. You may use other methods of converting glucose into energy, such as aerobic respiration or clostridial fermentation.

So would this just be a free win for the iron eaters?

every challenge is a free win for the iron eaters because iron is just overbuffed

I mean it was nerfed heavily in 0.9.0 apparentlyโ€ฆ

Even in the current release? @Deus debuffed it quite significantly and the only iron balance feedback we have received since the release is that it is now too debuffed to be a useful strategy.

Maybe one could do the challenge by combining chemolithoautotrophy, radiotrophy and thermotrophy?
