I have a question though for actions? Can i steal tech and discoveries from other civs?

sure, but it has to be above a 15 roll and you have to not get caught, so like 2 rolls, not to mention you actually have to find the civ

I was wanting to steal all of doomlightnings research to catapult me to second most advanced from least technologicly advanced. With my luck ill roll two ones and start a war

start by inventing the compass or some navigation device, then start mining north, you should be able to encounter someone. Also, if you research encryption, your votes will be secret, like ****, succ++(20)

He’s just lucky, if he is debuffed without a bad roll or event causing it everyone else should be too. He got his advancement fair and square

wasnt really angry i was just joking. I cant wait though to see if my action succeded
edit: it would be cool if later on in the game we could create a world map with the knowledge about the region/world we would have gathered. it wouldnt be that accurate because we wouldnt be able to map it to just see it all
