Endless Expanse

Anyways @willow so was it made a tube due to it failling or because I wasn’t clear when I stated a two way digestion because thats understandable

it is a digestive tube that pushes matter to the back

Alright I guess that answer it

@TristanMisja what is the vault organelle. also i need your submission for this round
@Topcode can you do the population math. also i need your submissions for the last 2 rounds along with this one

name: capsilaris constructicus
attempted mutations: outer frustule splits into quadrillions of pieces but develops extremely small unimolecular internal structures that keep it rigid but flexible, myofibril tubes to make the cell turn by .0001µ per 1µ or contract away from things reducing it’s length as much as possible without damaging the internal frustule, internal frustule segmentation to reduce damage from it shattering, wide enough to be seen(barely) by the eyes of a rodent, mana → matter conversion vacuole
description: a cell that is too big to be recognized as a cell at first glance but too small to be seen with the naked eye. it has a vacuole based cardiovascular system to easily transport materials across distances too large for diffusion to cover in the cell’s life of 5 years(average) there are ones that live for 100s of years but they are the extremely lucky ones. they can also occasionally make it into the thermosphere but not for long as they drop as soon as they stop moving their cilia
new habitat: upper stratosphere
diet: mana, biological matter, air, sediment.

Just look up vault organelle.

ok i still need your submission

@willow Question will we have a basic picture off how the atmosphere is made up of different gasses and how the world looks (continents) in the near future?

i do not know what they will look like but as soon as you have advanced light focusing photoreceptors i will tell you what it looks like. you should know what the atmosphere is made of as soon as @jose decides what the environmental compounds should be

Yeah I’m sorry I’ve been busy with a bunch of tests and stuff before winter break, I’ll see if I can make some time tho

Alright mostly because given S2 is released and we have H2S which means the oceans are slightly acidic

Name: Chomavestis provecta

Attempted Mutations: Centrioles, Magnetosome

Description: At the macroscopic level, Chomavestis portokali appears to be a orange mat hovering a few millimeters over the seafloor. At the microscopic level, they are thermosynthesizing organisms that consume substrate and debris, and can consume attacking cells. They are immune to most biotoxins, sense temperature, and can turn sulphur into fructose and iron into ATP. The individual cells can communicate by releasing certain chemicals around them, which are picked by connecting cillia.

New Habitat: None

Diet: Debris such as sulphides, iron/iron oxides, dead organisms, and attacking organisms. Heat gradients when possible.

Listening to you describe the game is quite interesting

hello. would you like to join this game and pick up from where @ sci0927 left off

Btw I guess I’m calling that cell leaf for now as they might be changed purpose in the future

@willow Given my plants now take up mana (though that was just by luck from the pores) what does it do and what is it?
(also the floating “algae” and sitting version could grow bigger now due to that tube system that formed)

mana is just fuel for magic that in this universe form into particles of varying weight called magicules that can be in any state of matter but are pure energy that is much easier to use than light and for far more purposes. basically you can do anything you want with specific glyphs of any size and the amount of mana they use and thus their strength depends on their surface area and you can have neurons in certain patterns to activate glyphs when you want to without having to touch the glyph with another limb any more information will be given to you when you evolve a brain

Alright interesting and if I may ask round 13th is over or still going?

@Cha @TristanMisja @Topcode round 13 has ended please submit your mutations for round 14 and any 6 actions you want to perform

name: Parva Folium
attempted mutations: Reverse chemosynthesis (Taking up CH2O + 2 S + H2O and converting it to CO2 + 2 H2S), Better photoreceptors (young only as the adults just need to differ between light and day), small patches of chithin around the youngs body (and is dropped when reaching adulthood as it would obscure the light) and lastly fleshly “arms” extenting from the sides of the mouth to drag any food into the mouth if their big enough.

description: They can be seen with the naked eye in their adult forms though they young can only be spotted near adulthood or in large swarms around the adults with the young being green-ish with the adults being completely purple as their bacteriophyll is used to cacth the sun as well being made of cellulose during adulthood with a large iconic “leaf” on the top which cacth almost all of the energy it takes in from the sun above it.
new habitat: none (all where the light touches and water the Parva rules)
diet: same as last time
CELL SPECIALIZATION: Biolumiecent cell which only during the night they activate and stay on to attract others of their species as they can see the basic light and shape.
