The underwater civilizations fully industralize the ocean under a singular supercity and fully destroyed life abovewater using pollution, they now give their sapient plants water that has been boiled with the unusued remains of their fallen brethen as a sort of tea. A common torture method is sending sapient plants outside of the water to die because of the polluption.
The willosaurs use a similiar torture method as they are situated underground. They Now rule thousands of underground cities worldwide. The moon silo launches a nuke and it destroys the communist cow capital city.
The underwater civilizations use their massive industry to launch millions of spacecraft to expand their industry to space, they also build titanic orbital farms in which they farm sapient plants and expose them to all sorts of space hazards, chemical hazards and machine hazards for fun.

They send swarms of nanites designed to specifically study the body of the sapient plants while being unperceviable are sent and discover of the webmind they decide to use the memories of the sapient plants in order to create a trojan malware designed to reassemble the god that the sapient plants once contacted so long ago. When the sapient plants feel the presence of the facsimile that so reassembles perfectly their memory they instantly accept it into themselves expetting praise or gift… Before the sapient plants could understand what was happening the trojan lobotomized the sapient plants making them unable to feel any sorf of pain or suffering, be it physical or psychological.
The trojan mocked the sapient plants for opposing the expansion of the glorious industry that their creators was making, for then to continue mocking their creators for their inferior organic needs which did nothing but hinder the expansion of the glorious industry for ultimately ending in singing praises to the industry and it’s immortal machine rulers as billions of machines worked on harvesting the matter of the sapient plants to be atomically reconstructed into more and more machinations.
