This is not meant to 100% follow irl rules, as this scenario is distinctly impossible.
Extinction events are not a problem, I already have them planned out. One just has not occurred yet as it is not time quite yet.

Okay @fralegend015 @willow I’vre read pretty much the whole argument, and Frale is correct
This scenario is distinctly unrealistic, and meant to be such. The atmosphere exists around the asteroid belt, unaffected by solar winds and without need for magnetic fields because magic for all I care. Doesn’t need to really be researched out, but I can make a list of what does follow logic (kinda)
Also, I still have to read about the creatures that were added by yall, will do that before I make the list and present any objections I have
ok so what i’m understanding is that there is a gas shield spell torus containing the asteroid belt’s atmosphere and it is modified to keep in all gas instead of keep out poisonous gas
It’s not something specific or anything. It just works, no explanation.
But whatever helps you understand it ig
So what does the evolution mat look like so far?
I’ll make an updated list ASAP, gotta read all the entries first then input them.
Alright, I just got an idea for one, I just need to know if the sandworms are king ragworms or the 6 ft long ones.
they are the 6ft ones
ancestor: Sandworms
name: Cave Diggers
adaptations: evolved to be able to dig through tough stone and have sharp teeth. They can now dig at incredible speeds. They have also evolved to be larger, almost twice their previous size.
diet: Everything
description: Giant worms that can be seen flying between the asteroids jumping from asteroid to asteroid eating anything between or in them.
habitat: Asteroids
In other words, these things are the extinction event.
Mkay I have a class now, will be able to update the list in about an hour.
Willow you are prolific in this forum game lol
how about an extinction event instead
it works!
As I stated in the beginning of the thread, there will be no extinction events until every base seed organism has five evolutions off of it or it’s descendants.
Also, I would prefer the remaining entries come from a variety of people instead of someone trying to speed run extinction events, as other people also play this game (not pointing fingers, just mentioning it)
Got it, expect 300 entries by tomorrow.

I’ll update this list as more creatures are made. This displays the available slots for creatures.
@Centarian @willow (and @fralegend015 cause you are making creatures too) here is the updated list
What do you want to bet that someone is going to make a mod for thrive that does exactly this.
Like follows this forum game or the theme of it (atmosphere asteroid belt)?
For both I think it would be really cool, but is also really unlikely to happen (on the same level as mods for other forum games like Pandora’s Horizon, probably less likely)
i will likely make it as I’ll probably know how to mod by the time thrive gets to the space stage update
Well that would certainly be interesting! I’m also working on learning how to code, so we’ll see what the future brings.
my salty fat blob in my skull is just producing way too many ideas about every one of these species i have interest in
ancestor: cave diggers
name: soil makers
adaptations: several sets vibrating teeth to crush up rocks until they are a fine mush and then digesting all the living matter in them
diet: everything
description: the same as cave makers except they shit out the softest most fertile dirt a plant out here could hope for
habitat: everywhere there is shit living on or in asteroids
species template
ancestor:
name:
adaptations:
diet:

habitat:
Y’know what here is a ‘what’s left’ section so that people know exactly how many of what are left to be evolved before next extinction

2 Blue Ringed Octopi
1 Isopods
1 Moss

I will update this as time goes in as well. Any Seed organisms not mentioned have met their evolution limit before the next extinction event.
Also hey 100th post!
