Legends: Storm of the Forsaken

(I’m not suggesting Fudd’s a psychopath, just a bit senile and/or just always teetering on the edge of insanity.)

Yay… I am unconscious!

@AgentTine alright because after Blaze’s little outburst I’m seriously beginning to wonder if you guys play these things to get eachother killed.

@Louix and @Aquos action bump (here’s to the many more bumps I’ll probably have to do)

Action: Point at the river and ask her if something is happening there ?

Action: Do something… magical

Time: Noon

As the party continues to relax around the campfire, Fudd keeps watch to make sure they aren’t ambushed. The coast so far is clear besides the vibrantly-colored songbirds that are flying around.

Thraryk, knowing that they have no real means of talking with Narayya so far, attempts to break the language barrier between them. He tries both the Orcish language and the Human language and she seems to pick up on a few of the human ones like “Yes”, “No” and"Ok" but sadly she struggles to understand anything else. (Fudd: 14)

Gregalt meanwhile does the age-old magical Goblin trick of letting out a belch, which everyone else finds disgusting.

Maenlorn meanwhile notices Narayya looking over at the river and points to it, asking her what’s over there. She struggles a bit to understand what he said but replies with “N-no? No…o?..No?” (he can tell using Human words is very difficult for her) and attempts to draw it out on the dirt. Maenlorn watches and she sketches out a circle with an arrow pointing to it, then a thick line near it, then further past the thick line she draws some triangles and stick figures. Finally she finished the sketch by drawing a line from the circle, through the thick line that leads to the triangles and stick figures. Upon looking at the finished sketch for a few minutes, Maenlorn can tell that it is a map of sorts. The circle represents the clearing, the thick line is the river, the line drawn through them is a path, but he isn’t sure what the triangles and stick figures are supposed to represent.

Blaze meanwhile is still unconscious.

(Blaze will awaken on his own in 2 turns)

“I think I understand ? Anyway this all seems very mysterious to me”

Action: Investigate VERY CAREFULLY where the stick figures are.

Fudd

“Hmm, looks perhaps the triangles are buildings or tents in a camp, and those stick figures are the people at the camp? This can be a perfect map for figuring out whom to raid and pilla - er, contact and trade with.”

@Louix Narayya pulls Maenlorn down for a second and he notices she starts drawing again as if she forgot something. She draws the path line further past the triangles and stick figures until it is about as long as the original length of the line. At that point she draws a larger amount of triangles and more stick figures, but these ones have curved horn shapes like the ones on her head. She points at these figures and seems much happier than the worry she showed with the other sketch of stick figures.

Fudd

Action: Start thinking up several plans on going into these (probably?) camps and backup plans if any hostilities occur.

“Wait up Maenlorn, you need backup incase something goes wrong!”

Action: Scout with Maenlorn

Action: Scout, y’know

Action: Help with scouting

Time: Noon

Maenlorn, Thraryk and Gregalt all head out to some scouting while Fudd stays behind with Narayya and the unconscious Blaze to come up with some plans when the scouting party gets back.

The scouting party heads past the river and, using a mental note of Narayya’s map, follow the path for about 20 minutes until they see a camp in the distance. The tents look well-kept and made of red fabric, the largest of which has a flag on top with an unusual gold symbol on it. They can see a few figures walking around, they look to be heavily armored from head to toe in an unknown blood red metal, carrying large well-crafted shields and axes of the same metal. There isn’t many of them, maybe 5 or 6 give or take but they also look very large, standing likely around 7 feet tall with broad figures. They appear to be talking but none of the scouting party can understand them, indicating that these warriors also speak a foreign language (though it doesn’t seem to be the one Narayya speaks).

Blaze is still unconscious.

(Blaze will awaken on his own next turn)

OOC: Just as a thought, I doubt that the heavily armored soldiers from beyond the river that the dragon girl pointed towards are friendly.
