That technically counts as “perpetual motion”. There will always be friction trying to stop infinite loops (in this example, light will be lost to the environment, as will all other energy in the form of heat. This is highly unsustainable.)

yeah, they’re literally magic, and the only kind of it i will allow in this game, there will be a perk that basically gives you the ability to use regular magic though, but it’s a secret perk so there’s a perk you’ll have to unlock to get it
yuyi’s species was the only one producing oxygen and since yuyi won’t be playing this for at least 4 years their species has been turned into soul shards and thus is extinct, and anyways it would’ve taken a few rounds at the rate it was producing oxygen to raise it by a percent after the oceans had all their metals turned into ores, so that will be more of a detriment than a benefit, there’s plenty of sulfur though.
Well, since my species can photosynthesize too, why wouldn’t it use oxygen it freed up itself to breathe?
it doesn’t produce oxygen yet, you could start producing oxygen, but currently your cells do not have much oxygen resistance so you might want to raise your species’ pop gain before starting to produce oxygen since an O2 gen value higher than 10 will lower your pop gain by 0.1 for every 5 it goes up, and your species is not breaking apart water to store energy, also photosynthetic is kind of a misnomer unless you consider photosynthesizing chlorophyll photosynthesis
