yes, it slightly reduces MP but moderately increases survival rate for single stranded DNA, double stranded DNA triples the effects of DNA, but to get DNA you have to get reverse transcriptase but itās better to have normal transcriptase first. though you could just use double stranded RNA instead if you want to be able to get genetic recombination without giving up as much MP
