Miviam was proud of all she had accomplished since she became the leader of the dragonfolk. And yet she felt as though something was missing. She recalled the old legends her great, great, grandfather had told her. He was the oldest wyrm in the tribe, the last of his generation. And seemingly the only one who remembered the ancient tales of the time the dragons could control every element, an ability that would be mysteriously stripped from them seemingly without cause or reason many generations ago. He was one of the victims of the plague that struck her tribe when they first came to this oasis in the midst of a sea of trees; the cure to which was found to late to save him. So when a mysterious voice offered her a wish, her thoughts bounced back to those old legends and her desire to regain the ability her people had supposedly lost so long ago. ā€œI wish we had the ability to control the elements once again, or at the very least access to plants that will grant us something similar.ā€ She replied.

Then a foreign voice replied, ā€œThe plant you have been looking for has long since disappeared from the world by the same ancestors you coveted.ā€ Shocked by the answer, she seems to be losing hope: ā€œBut I can give you the power to control the elements not only for you, but for the whole tribe part of the power of the plant so that you will not depend on it and hollow hopesā€ Then in one moment, she feels a stream of heat enter her And fills him with a power she had not known before, perhaps because he was not there, and then behold, she waved her arm, and fire came out of him, now she knows her wish has been granted!
