I have to say that I love this bit of concept art, and specifically this creature:
I just really like his look for some reason.
why is the pilus no longer being worked on.
Where does that come from? It isn’t mentioned anywhere in the last couple dev blogs, except for one where they showed a model, which would point to it still being worked on. The only other ‘mention’ of the pilus is that it’s still grayed out in the latest screenshot from the editor, and that’s because it’s just not finished yet.

also when will we get the thermoplast or bioluminescent vacuole?
The pilus was never implemented in the game.
And with the other question, it’s the same answer as usual: nobody knows yet
i mean it was being put into the game in github but it is no longer on the release list.
The next release is happening soon. Things that were not ready were thrown out of the milestone. Pilus is one of those things where multiple models have been made, but 0 programming has been done for it.
I’m surely hyped for a 3D Microbe Stage!
