Yes. The PU was a bit unclear on that. But the ascension prototype is what Iāll be working on next week.
Can we name our planets in the Space Stage prototype, or?
Itās not implemented. Similarly to how city or fleet renaming is not in.
So itās all procedurally generated names?
That sucks, honestly.
I wonder when the ability to name things besides lifeforms will be added.
I could have hardcoded the names or just put names like āPlaceholder planetā. It was easy enough to use the existing name generator to get at least some kind of names for things.

I was probably gonna name my planet Hydes, at any rate. Probably to keep with the theme of Loopies that I am using.

I wasnāt actually expecting an ascension prototype, but itās great that youāre doing it. 
It would give a taste of the completely transformational things which will eventually be available in the end game. Can we get any details of what we might be able to do in the prototype?
Iām just adding a couple of random cheat-like things to the space stage when you are ascended. Adding anything else is going to be extremely time consuming so Iāll need to skip it.

The dev forum could perhaps be a role model to community forum users, as a sort of excellent example.
I see. Thatās certainly the case. In fact the reason the dev forum exists as a separate thing is exactly because the fans couldnāt behave years ago and likely still couldnāt. Theyād just destroy the sanity of all developers who wanted to stay up to date with discussions. Thatās why the separated exclusive developer forum was made. And probably the reason why not many developers actively participate here or (even worse) the community discord server.
