Using the new planet generation settings, will it be possible to create a world that starts out without any Ice-shelf biomes, like how Earth didnβt have Ice caps initially ~4.6 BYA?

Not sure these settings allow you to alter the climate itself in such a mannerβ¦
The developers said that it would be very difficult to implement the replacement of areas with other areas (for example, the replacement of glaciers with an epipelagic patch as a result of warming), which is why we canβt expect such functions in the near future.

I think they could become easier to implement once the planet generator is in the game.
Has it ever been stated how long the day-night cycle corresponds to real time? Like the default 180 seconds day-night setting is like 24 hours?

It corresponds to the rotation period of your home planet that youβre playing on. How are the seconds converted to hours has not been explained to my knowledge.
Are there any plans to re-add the Ogre from v0.0.5 as an easter egg?

Itβs so obscure even amongst the Thrive playerbase I donβt see why the developers would go through the effort to add it just for the few who even recall itβ¦
Thereβs never been any plan to add any Easter Eggs whatsoever, all of the current Easter Eggs have been added because a random developer has thought that it would be neat to add and then they worked on it.

To be fair EE did acknowledge our existence in their splash screens some time ago already so it could be of use to re-acknowledge their existence from our side at some point.
Hypothetically, if someone had a very long, heavily formatted, Word 2010 document, and rather than spend weeks reformatting it to be a septuple Thrive post, they wanted to post it somewhere else and post a link to it, any recommendations as to where to post it?
