Quick Question Thread

Right. Some adjustment will probably be made, eventually. As long as all the developers donโ€™t forget, which is kind of a possibility as this adjustment wouldnโ€™t be a completely necessary so we might just do all the big features for multicellular and forget about this.

Isnโ€™t roadmap there to prevent lesser features like that from being forgotten?

The Multicellular roadmap does not exist yet.

Indeed, but eventually it shall be created.

Will multicellular development go faster or slower than microbe

Probably faster than that of the overall microbe stage.

The hope is a year or two to โ€œfinishโ€ Multicellular, once Microscopic is โ€œdoneโ€, which is taking longer than had been hoped.

Yeah, it was originally supposed to have 1.0 released about now.

Where can players view achievements found in the game?

They can be found in the โ€œextrasโ€ option.

I thought Acheivements would be found under the Thriveopedia, which was probably why I was not finding them.

You can also find them on steam if you own Thrive there.

I have notice that when using the in-built mouse, I cannot sprint (since I have to also press w at the same time), or use the signaling agent (since I canโ€™t select the signaling commands using the in-built mouse). Are there plans to make game features usable/more user friendly to those without an external mouse?

I suppose the โ€œpress c for cursorโ€ feature from the macroscopics could also be added to microbe?

What would be needed? You can already rebind the sprint key to whatever you want. And you can use the automove forwards button to not have to hold โ€œwโ€ when you want to move. Also using screen relative movement mode reduces the need for moving your cursor while playing the game.

I fail to see whatsoever what this would do to the described problemsโ€ฆ

You could rotate the cell with the inbuilt mouse and then press c to โ€œreleaseโ€ the wasd buttons for sprinting.
Though the solution you gave is better I suppose.

Thank you for the suggestions! I will definitely try these the next time I play the game!

I recall a few releases ago the speed boost from slime jets was buffed, but I am not sure if it was said how much exactly (which Iโ€™d like to know).

The only way to know would be for someone to look through the git history to see what numbers were really changedโ€ฆ

Well the jets certainly seem to be stronger twice or maybe even thrice over their old version.
Also what is there left to be added to the current planet customization system, as the roadmap item seems to not have been completed yet?
